Not really it started to go downhill from here, pretty much as soon as hogan arrived because then it became the hogan show

Nah, this was TNA around the time it started to fall from grace Hogan and bischoff fucked with everything that made TNA what it was, ditched the 6 sided ring, started bringing in his old ass buddies who were pretty much all 10 years past their prime if not more, X division became less and less relevant Dixie became more and more of an on screen character etc etc...they still had their moments like Bobby Roodes title run and EC3 debut and some random stuff here and there but from about 2010-2015 TNA wasn't worth wasting 2 hours of your life to watch and by the time they finally pulled their heads out of their asses and realized their mistakes they had lost a majority of their loyal fanbase and got kicked off spike thanks to russo
They're luckily doing a lot better now tho and definitely deserve a larger consistent fanbase, it's just that nobody watches cable TV anymore and idek what channel they're on at this point tbh wish they'd air their weekly episodes on YT tbh so I could start watching again

Damn, TNA's roster was stacked!! Abyss, AJ Styles, Jay Lethal, The Young Bucks, Samoa Joe, Mr. Anderson, Bobby Roode, James Storm and all those Attitude Era legends!! How could you screw that up??? And how could this only draw 1 million viewers at the time???
The problem was they were putting those attitude era legends over the fresh blood. Instead of being something unique they were trying to be old school WWE/WCW.
because we seen all of this kind of stuff 10 years before it felt second rate and poorly booked i loved the foley flair match but I cringed all the way through it

The problem happened when Bischoff & Hogan came in. They completely threw away the previous months of work that were building new stars (Desmond Wolfe vs Kurt Angle for example).
The Pope should’ve been a TNA World Champion.

10/10/10 The day that really was the death of TNA everything started going downhill for a few years after that. So glad it's finally shedding that stink and starting to feel like the old days again.
I honestly think it was still amazing after that. The biggest mistake they did was having AJ lose the title to RVD earlier that year but everything else was great for me
Mannic Sorry but that is complete and utter BULLSHIT. 2011 was factually on average the promotions best year for ratings thus the most viewed. You don't have to like this but it's a fact. The downfall really of TNA began when they lost their Spike TV deal in 2014. They they lost over half their audience instantly and have never drew over a million viewers since. List of TNA Impact ratings average below.

Believe what you want almost every TNA original started leaving after the Hogan/Eric bullshit. Aces and Eights was trash the only good thing to come from that was Bully Ray.
2010-2011 was the year of the retirement home.
I have watched TNA since the weekly ppv era and have been a diehard fan I wasn't "talking smack between 06-09" which was their best time as a promotion.
2011 was their "best year" but it was one of the reasons Spike ditched them shortly later so something must have been an issue. You don't have to agree with me it's fine have your opinion and I will have mine.

It's a shame that Pope never got more of a push in TNA. Tna seriously dropped the ball on Pope, just like they did with the likes of Jay Lethal and Nick Aldis

I think that just prior to Hogan & Bischoff coming in, Russo was pushing Desmond Wolfe and Pope. The change basically threw the previous months of work in the trash.
Pope definitely should have been pushed more.
Magnus didnt work out that well. Aldis did a lot better in NWA.
Man, i want to see IMPACT get back to this!! Regardless of certain booking decisions, & all the BS going on behind the scenes, back then, these were the glory days of TNA/IMPACT! Maybe this new partneship with AEW could possibly be the first step to IMPACT returning to their former glory, sometime in the undetermined future.

For anybody that doesn't know the THEY that Abyss is on about, turned out to be Immortal. Which turned out to be Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarret, Abyss and Jeff Hardy and Fortune joined them the following Impact.

I've always loved wrestling got into TNA in about 2011, This storyline was awesome, TNA was awesome and it's getting back to where it was its good again.

Knockouts have always been the best wrestling and looks wise. Velvet Sky, Tara, Madison Rayne, Gail Kim, Taryn Terrell, Mickie James, christy Hemme, Shelly Martinez, Sarita, Rosita all hot and legends.

That's an incredibly bad idea. Forgetting the fact that the studio doesn't even exist anymore, nobody payed for tickets to go, they payed for admission to the Universal Studios and were allowed in the tapings for free.
