Hi! I just got one for Christmas. I put the wick in and put the stone down, waited the 2.5 minutes and lit it. My question is - when it lit there was a blue flame under and around the stone. The flame went about a half foot high, then settled down. Sometimes when i watch videos of people lighting them jist the top of the stone is lit and sometimes it is lit aroumd the stone. Its been an hour now and i still smell the beautiful scent, but the stone is still very hot. How long should the stone stay very hot for and is there something we did wrong for the hot flame to go under and around the stone when we lit it?
The large flame is normal. Sometimes it’s huge and sometimes it’s tame. Your stone will stay warm until you run out of fragrance or until you “snuff” it out with the metal snuffing cap. I usually snuff it out after 30-60 min. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
I usually just let my scent run on and pour the new scent in. You can run neutral fuel though it, but I never do. Even with a wet wick, I’ve found it ok to switch from one scent to another. I carry the Lolita gift set ($56) in clear and the car diffusers.

Don’t forget to soak the wick for 20 minutes if the wick is dry, then light the stone for 2 minutes. I love my lamps. I have collected over 15 so I can have a specific scent for each fragrance. The fuel is expensive so I only leave it lit for 30 or 45 minutes at a time. This ritual is my favorite guilty pleasure while reading a book or relaxing.
It doesn’t purify the air.. it perfumes the air.

What fuel can I use? I tried with kerosene and it didn't work. Do you have any conventional fuel to use?
