Slim were a great 70s band. ‘Forever and ever’ reached no 1; ‘Requiem’ deserved a higher chart position as did ‘The kids a Punk’ a long with this their last single. Then Midge came back with the Rich Kids and finally Ultravox & Visage.
You can hardly tell but I'm sure that's Midge Ure on lead guitar and vocals - he of ''Vienna'' / Ultravox fame, a classic song. This tune here is a typical mid-70's teeny bop sound.
@@patmckeane6588 Well, no. I know it fits the narrative. "Those talentless Rollers; that talented Midge." But just read Midge's autobiography. Martin/Coulter were tough taskmasters.
A great old 70´s song of my youth !
Ein echten Künstler erkennt man daran ,dass er einfach alles singen kann, midge Ure ist wahrhaftig ein vielseitiger und echter Künstler❤❤❤,
Although he was young, his quality was high, so it was natural that he would be popular. ❤️
