NATO is waiting just like they did in 2022, when Putin was building up his 150000 military force. They were as they are now convinced that he will NOT act in some way against the WEST. I think they are ALL on the take just like the Slovak an Hungarian leaders.
NATO wont act. We have seen so many strikes on NATO members since the war began. NATO have never responded with an attack. And they wont unless its a deep targeted strike into the likes of Germany, England etc. All these strikes 50 or 60 miles into NATO territory are minor, which through investigations have not hit significant points to justify a retaliation. If Russia hit a key base or building that could be seen as intentional, NATO could justify a retaliation. NATO don't want to be the ones to be seen starting WW3. Hence they will indirectly guide Ukraine to do it by going into Kursk and striking further into Russia.
You ready to go fight on the front lines? Because acting means world War so it better be worth the action. Your statement would mean, countless deaths of young humans. Does that not matter to you?
The US had bombers flying over Russia every day during the Cold War. Some drones are pretty insignificant, unless you’re prepared for 8 years of no food.
WYM "too scared to do anything"?! They did and do get interceptors in the air, as well as launch SAMs at such drones, and many such drones get shot down every month. What would you want NATO to do about this? No need to answer here... answer to yourself and think about the consequences.
As a Latvian and I am disgusted by NATO's ''escalation management''. Our country has been dealing with many Russian provocations for decades at this point. On the other hand Americans haven't got a clue with how to handle Russia, so please stop telling us and Ukraine what we can or cannot do.
@2beJT Meaningless statement. Apart from Ukrainians, in Europe we know and deal with them the most. We're also very tolerant of their culture, but just as in the '90s, when yobs from Russian schools were invading venues in Latvian schools to look for fights - and occasional retaliation - we know the best how to handle them since the 5th grade.
the US REALLY needs to stop dictating whether or not a NATO member country can shoot down Russian weapons violating their airspace and Europe needs to stand up for themselves
hopefully in a few years we can be free from the US dictating what we can or can't do. better late than never. but it should have been done years ago. but for that to happen we need to build up an "EU-army", where our countries armies are so integrated that we have the capability to combined into one well oiled army to protect our soil and citizens.
Fellow Latvian, same. Don't watch the local news, including today, guess we better start doing that. Also, our border defense lines with Russia is in the final states of completion. Let's add some more AD (drone defense is just in the planning stage), as we have no notable domestic airforce to scramble jets every time UAV flies over the border. However there are international joint brigades on standby already with air capabiities too. Not to make excuses, but our eastern border are very remote and scarsely populated, so in a rare occasion like this i'm not surprised it didn't get shot down on the border. Still got to find out the details.
Same thing happened in march 2022 in Croatia, Zagreb. Drone flew over Romania, Hungary and Croatia 's main capital until it crashed due to no fuel. All 3 countries even tho they are in NATO not only didnt spot a 40 year old drone in their airspace, they didnt register it flying the full lenght of their states. It was in news for short then nowhere to be heard, 2 years later we have no clue who launched it and what was its purpose. How far is Croatia from Ukraine and how did a drone come all the way there, there are no informations. You can google 2022 Zagreb Tu-141 crash on wikipedia for more info.
20 plus miles in to several Nato countries, what happened to defending every inch of Nato sovereign territory? Sadly as the US insists on controlling Nato, a weak US president is allowing others to take advantage.
It seems if russia drove a drone straight into Duda himself, NATO would still not consider it a direct attack on NATO. US preventing NATO countries from benefits of being in NATO is completely ridiculous.

The problem is if one joins all of NATO joins because of the clauses of the pact. If Romania, or Poland, or Latvia or any other country declare they are going to war with the justification that they were attacked then that would entail a defensive war which would pull the entire pact into the mix.
@@АлексПетков-р5з Not neccesarily. The country attacked has the option to ask for military help from NATO, but it does not mean that all NATO nations will join in. I think he's looking for a response so he can back up his paranoid claims that NATO is plotting against Russia. He's looking for an excuse to escalate, he's at risk of losing political favour back in Moscow because he needs another draft and having actual NATO aggression towards Russian forces would be real easy to spin into the nationalistic drive he needs to convince the people that it's actually a good idea to send their sons off to the meat grinder.

I feel the drones endering NATO airspace is far from a accident, I believe there probing the borders the as Enforcer Matt has said " to see what air defence is where and how far could they get before triggering a NATO response". As for the NATO countries restrictions on what weapons can be used over the border in Russia, I say let then have free rain with there stocks and go for it as there defending there freedom and lives
Russia has been making threats on Romania for the last decade for daring to have anti-missile shields for defense, saying Romania's shields represent a threat for Russia.
In 1990 I crossed that bridge (Queen-Louise-Bridge) illegally twice, when Lithuania was still part of USSR and Kaliningrad was forbidden for westerners. Later two oligarch brothers, which I met in the city of Sowjetzk, used that bridge to run a private border crossing between Ruzzia and EU, no joke. In 2008 that private border was closed.
I would think that it is time for NATO to make an agreement with Ukraine to patrol 100km of airspace inside the Ukrainian border against drones and missiles, and to notify Russia that this is done in response to Russia being "unable to control its air assets that keep falling inside of NATO territory". That would stop the "out of control" drones and missiles, and be clearly purely defensive and 100% due to Russia's actions and not an escalation. Of course Russia would whine about it, but it would be 100% clear to everyone that such whining is a lie and just posturing.
If NATO isn't going to take a "shoot anything that looks sus" stance on Russian incursions into NATO airspace (which is the exact right thing to do to maintain security on your air defense capabilities), then they should be using a policy of deliberate ambiguity. That is "we know what we have chosen to react to and you will know what our choice is when you see our weapons launch" or to put it another way FOFA "you won't Find Out until you've already F Around too much". I kinda suspect that Ukraine has at least as good an idea of what Russian air defense looks like as anyone in the world (including Russia) and if NATO wanted to, I'd bet they could locate more valid military targets than they would be willing to expend munitions on. Which is to say, between NATO stockpiles and Ukrainian operational experience I suspect Russia could be handed a very bad day, possibly while maintaining enough plausible deniability to leave Russia with an excuse to not escalate.
Yet the US still won’t allow NATO countries to respond! Seriously WTF? LSA FOREVER! @The Enforcer @EnforcerMatt Slava Ukraine! I do fully agree the US should back off and allow Ukraine to respond!

US weapons, US rule. Ukraine agrees to such terms when accepting them. The Pentagon is paranoid if a missile part lands in Moscow today with the words, "Made in the US", that we'd wake up to incoming nuclear strikes from Russia come tomorrow. Nuke threats don't stop Ukraine, they stop the west cause they aren't in Russia's back yard.
When only 100.000 tons of fuel were destroyed means that only 20 of the 73 oil silos got destroyed and not more than half, as initially reported everywhere, as each of this silos contains 5.000 tons. Sad news, 265.000 tons survived.
"The average Ruskie, son, doesn't take a dump without a plan." Fred Thompson never steered me wrong and this situation definitely stinks of probing NATO for the next target, likely to lash out at in desperation. Putin's looking to start something small that NATO cannot ignore and then use the resulting aggressive posture as a justification to his subjects for a further escalation.

These drones are actively gathering visual intel and testing defenses. This is an open violation of both NATO countries air space. The drone that crashed in Poland ..was actually on a course to go to the main airbase occupied by US forces in Poland ..but that drone crashed and looked like it simply run out of steam first. None of this is accidental.

Absolutely no reason for any drones to be anywhere near either of those countries. Its escalation on Russias part
NATO is waiting just like they did in 2022, when Putin was building up his 150000 military force. They were as they are now convinced that he will NOT act in some way against the WEST. I think they are ALL on the take just like the Slovak an Hungarian leaders.
NATO need to act ...... Stop being soft and do something
fuck off, im not going to war over this bs
What would recommend they do?
You ready to go fight on the front lines? Because acting means world War so it better be worth the action. Your statement would mean, countless deaths of young humans. Does that not matter to you?

this is what happens when nato is to scared to do anything about russian drones flying into nato airspace
NATO's whole reason for existence is exactly this.
What do you want nato to do? Launch ww3 over a drone?
The US had bombers flying over Russia every day during the Cold War. Some drones are pretty insignificant, unless you’re prepared for 8 years of no food.
WYM "too scared to do anything"?! They did and do get interceptors in the air, as well as launch SAMs at such drones, and many such drones get shot down every month. What would you want NATO to do about this? No need to answer here... answer to yourself and think about the consequences.
It's the same way Russia is to nice to NATO that is why all that bs talks

Meaningless statement.
Hi from Latvia!
The US needs to lift all Restrictions and we could give Ukraine 🇺🇦 every thing to win the war.
the US REALLY needs to stop dictating whether or not a NATO member country can shoot down Russian weapons violating their airspace and Europe needs to stand up for themselves
They probably made a backroom deal with the CIA visit.
hopefully in a few years we can be free from the US dictating what we can or can't do. better late than never. but it should have been done years ago.
but for that to happen we need to build up an "EU-army", where our countries armies are so integrated that we have the capability to combined into one well oiled army to protect our soil and citizens.
Maybe if they didn't depend on US donations, they would have the right to ask the US to stop dictating to them.
The US doesn’t dictate any of that. Where did you get that info?
The US does not dictate when NATO member countries can protect their airspace.
Where did you hear this stupidity, or did you just make it up?
Thx Enforcer Matt! Appreciate you and Enforcerer are doing tho short videos again 👍🏻
Im latvian and the first time I hear about drones landing in Latvia is from you
Fellow Latvian, same.
It was on the news…

And they have hit over 20 miles into Poland as well in the past … he is seeing how far he can push NATO these countries should be allowed to join Ukraine as Russia has hit them with weapons
NATO would coordinate an appropriate response & they might agree for instance that the Baltic nations, Poland & Romaina would provide direct miltary assistance but UK, Germany, etc, would not directly fight, assuming the intention was just to drive Russia out of Ukraine.

Looking forward to the fundraiser. Glad it’s done by RUclips give so every cent goes to Ukraine. Thanks for the update. LSA

If there are incursions into NATO territory, then the only option is to set up a grey buffer zone, inside Russia where the Z forces can't launch their weapons towards NATO.
The width of the zone can be 20km or 200km or more depending on what system breached the border.
