This is is not helpful. You can't even read what he is doing on the phone. The only way I can set it up is if I give my credit card. It's supposed to be free. I called and they were too busy to answer the first time. Then I sent an email and didn't get a reply. Then I called again and someone did answer. I heard a roaster growing in the background lol. They stated to watch the you tube video to learn. I said I have a question and they hung up on me. I want a return at this point.

Damn !! Looks like this camera isn't designed for remote usage . If I'm at work I can't connect to watch what my dogs are doing at home . If I knew that , I would have purchased something else . It only works when I'm on my home network , which means I can watch them in person -LOL,,,,otherwise its a connection with no internet . What good is this camera !!!
you need to have a wifi network in your home and change the camera to wifi station mode for controle the camera evrywhere like

Please explain step by step how to watch whats happening at home while iam not at home qnd far away. Only when iam home i get access to view. Soon as i leave home there is no connection to view. Also when iam at home and iam connected to the camera my wifi turns off and it stays connected to camera. How do i use this camera with my wifi staying on instead of clicking on the camera number in the wifi list as soon as i connect to camera i get dosconnected from my wifi and cannot gey msgs etc. Pls explain step by step how to connect remotley. Well it helped alot. But question is if I put sd card inside, it would save the pictures when I am away from home. For exemple I am at work but when I open app I check the sd card information in app would I see pictures in there?

when being connected do you hear a chime sound , i did? I didnt know the thing was connected , unitl after going in to the setting of camera app setting.
i cant get the camera to connect to anything besides little_stars that app wont let me do anything but connect to it through a hotspot. when i turn it on i do not get a still light, i get the very fast blink. ive tried for over 36 hours in the past couple of days and im beyond frustrated. with the v380 app ive gotten to the device screen when i try to connect to the device though it just tells me its not online. Ive noticed when its blinking very fast the only way i can connect to the camera is through AP on little stars. when i do manage to connect to the camera in little stars not in AP and the device blinks slower i go to the video tab and i click on remote and then click on the camera and it seems to be loading but then i get a orange screen with chinese symbols with an ! at the end. so im guessing its a failure to something. please please please help!!!
you need to connect the camera with your router for get the footage everywhere ,for that tap edit/AP button in up of the first page /network ,and try to change the camera from AP mode to WIFI Station mode add the password of your router

I can't mine to connect . It doesn't have the code on the back of the mini cam. And the square codes don't work on the instruction paper . It doesn't even give you the correct app to download for the cam.

you need to use an SD card and change the storage from cloud to the SD card in the settings for recording without fees

Wow , I thought it said just download the app and the app finds the camera and that's it ready to go. Being a non techno person I'm not going to be able to get through all that tapping and jargon. Maybe in another life I might get the hang of it .
If it were heavier it could be used as a door stop, as a camera it's hopeless. It just will not connect to allow setup.
