Hi, just to clarify, I think you are referring to fluid needs calculations. For fluid recommendations, common estimators are 1mL/kcal or 30 mL/kg which can be used for most patients. For patients with altered fluid needs (e.g., renal dysfunction or chronic heart failure) different estimations are needed. Hope this helps!
