I’m a us citizen living in UK and everytime I go back I get asked so many questions about which countries have I been to and why, how long was there in those countries, and why I’m back in the US. Bro I’m literally BORN THERE AND RAISED. US border officers need to chill out
This is still gentler than the experience I had recently. Apparently it was suspicious that I was spending a week in the states and planned to see a band. I’m convinced their default setting is aggression when it comes to boarder control.
Yeah weirdly enough one time I got this guy that even spoke a bit of german (I‘m from germany) and he was so nice didn‘t really ask me anything besides about myself and talking in german and then let me pass with ease
It seems suspicious. It could be some kind of reconnaissance activity. It could also be that the criminal would want to do a crime in short time and leave the us without being caught.
@@aye503 Can you site when that has happened lately in America? We have millions from all around the world invading our southern border. You’re worried about someone flying in?

Probably only for long trips. In Europe, even between non-EU countries, it's not a problem even if you only stay in that country for 10 hours and take the return plane
Fact I want to share : If you're a European citizen of any country of the Schengen area and want to go to another country (of the Schengen area) you can stay there for 3 months without needing the official Visa. That's why I love it here so much. I can just sit in one train and visit Vienna and Budapest on the weekend and come back.
