His voice is pretty much a dead ringer for Glenn Danzig.
@@sirfuecksalot90 Is too bad he is working as a Drill Sargent they usually destroy their voice.
I have never seen this video before until now BLU MY MIND FANTASTIC to the brave Man and Women that are doing this for our country thanks to all of you that still protecting us today 🎉🎉🎉
I was in the USN boot camp 1970 not many women. But we got a cadence caller from Chicago and she decided to "get down" chanting and dance! The rest of us were doing it too!
Then a male drill instructor walked over and really got onto us. He wasn't even our instructor! We could no longer do cadence instead punishments AND we had to learn fancy drills like high school bands that walk in and out of lines etc. We were good!
But the worst punishment? Shoes!
The morning after our stunt we woke up to find a mountain in the hallway of our shoes with 10 minutes to find ours or go without! our name was written inside but there's 120 shoes!
One girl climbed the stack and tossed shoes, "Jones, Smith, .." we barely made it.
All because we liked to boogey! Glad it's changed in 50 yrs.
His voice is tuned so perfectly to harmonize with the guitar, it's so crazy.
i know right? just imagine how much better it would be if you could tune the guitar to the guy's voice
definitively he has musical training background
I'm not necessarily some amazing musician like Andre, but some of us are blessed with the ability to know, without any frame of reference, how to sing an A note or C note or what have you, and how to keep tempo. Now if I only had the dexterity and skill to use that, I'd be set...
I think there is some auto tune on the vox

His voice is fantastic but how he stay on tempo is another level.
That's precisely the purpose of singing while marching, to give a cadence so everybody march on tempo.
@@leonardoflorentin how he's staying on key is amazing
he is for sure s musician himself
@@mattzach34 How is that amazing when he's the one deciding the key?
@@DoobieFerguson obviously, you haven't marched and kept cadence at the same time...not as easy as he makes it look.
This Steam Roller Cadence was one we used in marching at Fort Leonardwood.
Okay the fact that the soldier stayed in key through all of that with no reference point is arguably just as impressive as the incredible arrangement of the guitars, bass and drums 😳
Sailor
That is a Sailor.
Sailor, not soldier. We are distinct branches.
Army soldiers.
Navy sailors.
Air Force airmen.
Coast Guard coasties, a different yet similar kind of sailor. Who knows what we'll call the Space Force... guardians still doesn't sound right.
And I'm a Marine, period.
And there is a reference point, the tempo is built in to the cadence, and you keep it as you stay in step while marching. Don't need a metronome, drum, or anything else.
Oorrah! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Perfect rhythm and perfect pitch while marching - the standard has been set.
Autotune, I presume?
