***** Ud take Hakeem over Wilt? Hilarious. Wilt made all defensive 1st team his last two years in the league on bad knees. Most dominant and versatile player ever holds bulk of scoring records and is top 5 in triple doubles and led league in rebounding 11 times.
***** There were 25 centers in the league that were atleast 6 11 or above in Wilts time playing in Nba 12 of them were 7 footers. Since youre such a lazy moron who cant research nothing. Theres nothing Shaq or Hakeem do better than Wilt. Hes superior physically and his Iq was even better. Offensively more diverse and potent and defensively he won all defensive 1st team his final two years in the league on bad knees that about says it all. Hakeem wasnt 7 foot neither he was like 6 10 so not sure why youre making height an argument here but i smashed it anyway.
***** Once again u prove youre a jackass. Shaq did not have better post moves than Wilt nor was Hakeem a better shotblocker. Wilt would triple Hakeems shotblock total theres counts of ppl keeping track of Wilts blocks in games and the count often got up to 20. Wilt had a 500 pound benchpress and could run a 4.6 40 yard dash. Shaq could only run that in 5.8 seconds. Shaq benefitted from the rule changes before rule changes u had much smaller men like Dennis Rodman be able to push him out of position in the post in 96 conference finals where he frustrated the shit out of Shaq. Reason for that was you could use your forearm in the lowpost they eliminated that in 1997 also in time Shaq was winning championships there were virtually no centers at all besides Mutombo. Shaq would need an oxygen tank to keep up with Wilt for one and Hakeem would get manhandled. Wilt far to smart for Shaq and iq little more equal with Hakeem but the size and strength just too much. Wilt dominated under much tougher rules as well. All the rule changes took effect in the mid to late 90s which escalated to the soft shit we see today. Shove your weak ass opinions up your ass and quit bothering me with this. The counting of championships is the most useless argument of all. Wilt is top 5 in triple doubles would be higher if they counted blocks back then. Wilt also had to go up against hall of fame teams what hall of fame team did Shaq play against in his threepeat? Exactly. Goodbye now. Btw Wilt has 2 rings not 1 and won finals mvp near end of his career what was Shaq doing in his next finals? Riding D wades coat tails averaging 15 and 9 Wilt averaged 25 and 25 . Kids really need to research before they talk.
Teammates and opponents alike had to really be alert when Magic had the ball, because those WTF passes could come at any time. Occasionally, rookies would get hit in the back of the head with those passes.
Aaron Ng rondo is an overrated passer, now rubio got some skillful passing, but rondo just wastes the clock and passes it so that people have to shoot, he is one of the most overrated players in the nba and isn't really as pure of a point guard as people think

xDEPREDATEx I love both those shows, but as a basketball player, I like Slam Dunk more because of its NBA-team references and its greater realism. A lot of the stuff in Kuroko is extremely unrealistic, even by NBA standards :P (but I still love the show, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me)
@jackliu913 You are so wrong! Lebron is one of the classiest, what's worng with you? Everybody says he's a great guy, even his enemies, he donates nearly all of his endorsment money to charities, plus the first thing he did with his cleveland rookie contract was buy his mom a house. He smiles and jokes around like magic. If he did want to hype himself he would've gone to New York for media, chicago to hype himself as next jordan. Plus magic had Kareem, Worthy and Scott you hermaphrodite warthog!
These idiot millenials that say that today's players were better than in Magic's era, SMH. You have about four guys that can post up today. No one consistently makes a mid range jumper. 80 percent of team's can't run a proper fast break to save their lives and the fundamentals are so off, that anyone who CAN is immediately seen as an All-Star caliber player. Of course guys are more athletic now...you SHOULD be. But the better product...from fewer teams (meaning less dilution) to better overall BASKETBALL skills (not just athleticism)...today's game can't hold a candle to the 80's. You always talk about the modern advantages...well I'd love to see LeBron handle five games in seven nights while flying commercial without modern equipment. Stop it. I'll see 10 MJ's before I ever see another Magic. I'll see 30 LeBron's before I ever see another Magic. The genius of his game was that at 20, he could've been a top 3 player in the league...he was great coming out of college. But he deferred to Kareem and elevated the play of Wilkes, Worthy, Scott, AC Green, Rambis, Cooper, and even Vlade Divac to ALWAYS be a championship contender. That's the thing you idiot kids don't understand...the game is deeper than some stats you can quote off of Basketball Reference. And just because someone like Giannis Antentoukempo (sp?) is a crazy athlete...that doesn't mean he's a better basketball player. Stop it.
@BigTimePride Totally agree, those 2 guys single handedly took the passing game to another level, I love the whole power game, but there still is little sweeter in my memory than Magic attacking the hoop 3 v 2, because you can be near on certain that the ball is going to end up in the right guys hands, and that inspires runners, because they know he's totally selfless with the basketball. Definitely 2 genuine hall of famers.

The master of the bounce pass
Teammates and opponents alike had to really be alert when Magic had the ball, because those WTF passes could come at any time. Occasionally, rookies would get hit in the back of the head with those passes.
Wow Kobe Bryant was young rip one of my favorite basketball player ever
Best lineup ever
Magic
MJ
Bird
Karl Malone
Kareem Abdul jabbar
Actually Duncan over Malone
Duncan over Malone, and Hakeem over Kareem
kobe over mj, Dr.J over bird, duncan over malone.
+Shyne Conce I don't get it how is Duncan better than Malone. Malone's best season was insane.
+Zain Choudhry koby over MJ WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU
His First Championship he played the PF position. This guy could do anything.
The best passers today are Steve Nash and Rubio
no today would be rubio and rondo. nash is old and most of cp3's assist are from oops
Aaron Ng rondo is an overrated passer, now rubio got some skillful passing, but rondo just wastes the clock and passes it so that people have to shoot, he is one of the most overrated players in the nba and isn't really as pure of a point guard as people think
***** You clearly don't watch many Celtics games then
Chris Lujan no, rondo only passes when he knows he'll get the assist...an east conf. scout said it before..
CP3 boy!
magic was a freaking beast
yo kibe, start talkin about passin when u start passin lol:)
He's going to end up as all-time leader in assists for a shooting guard f nut
that awkward moment when you realize kobe has led the lakers in assists in over half the seasons he's played and has more career assists than any other non-point guard...
im a huge fan of magic johnson also the lakers, imagine if he havent retired the first time in 1991, he could had been a threat to mj on that double 3 peat, maybe he could had won 2-3 more championships also kareem abdul jabaar
Rip Kobe
That last play was nice. Much respect to the legend!
Watch the anime name Kuroko's Basketball !! And tell me if it's look like magic johnson!!! LIKE IT!!
that show rules, as a fan of anime and basketball that show and slam dunk are must watches.
Yah!!! I Love Those Anime!!!
he has the eagle eye of Izuki.
xDEPREDATEx I love both those shows, but as a basketball player, I like Slam Dunk more because of its NBA-team references and its greater realism. A lot of the stuff in Kuroko is extremely unrealistic, even by NBA standards :P
(but I still love the show, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me)
If kuroko no basket would be realistic, it would just be a spinoff of Slam Dunk.. but I love both of those shows anyway..
He was ahead of his time.
2:02 Awesome nut megg
MAGIC IS SO GREAT!!
Top ten assists my ass!!!
Of Magic Johnson's career. Why can't you read?
Magic is probably the best bounce passer I’ve ever seen.
He made me LOVE Basketball :-) Gotta love this guy
Stop it.
Ben Simmons is the next Magic
35 years later & Magic's passing still best i seen.
watch "Is Nikola Jokic the best passer ever?" by thinking basketball, it makes magic seem like an average passer lmao
?. Magic and bird and jokić are the best passers of all time, lebron being a honeral mention with guys like cp3, john stockton ect.
May God guide Magic Johnson to Islam.
Slaimon Khan Shah
What about Kareem Abdul Jabbar or Jamaal Abdul Wilkes?
It must have been fun being a Lakers fan in those days. Magic was definitely one of the greatest players of all time.
We'll never see 40 foot bounce passes like that again.
people r crazy saying any point guard in todays era is better than magic they will never be another magic he was a rare breed he waslmost 7 foot tall could play the point handle like a true point guard could play center or anyother position and not to mention the best court visiion of alltime without a doubt he was a beast !!!
Greatest PG ever Magic Man
He’s my first pick as point guard, nobody did it better… 2 guard I want Mike, Larry and Duncan as my forwards, Shaq at center…
Your team will destroy anybody else’s team 😂
Magic is complete player just like Big O. Amazing! He led Lakers in 9 Finals. Who did that? (except for Cousy and Bill)
i love his bounce pass, that's what i use when i play
1:31 gets me so emotional!
Yeah & he is my favorite Basketball player of all times # 32 💛💜
The bounce passes in heavy traffic were amazing.
