Didn't older washing machines used to come with a transit bracket that was fixed under the lid? I know Hotpoint washing machines from the mid 80s to late 90s used to come with a transit bracket but it looks like transit bolts have been the standard since the 2000s. I know Miele washing machines have used transit polls inserted through the back panel probably since the 90s as I remember my parents saying Miele washing machines don't have a transit bracket fixed under the lid.
@@getreview I think transit brackets differed from manufacturers, actually only the older Hotpoint WM models used an internal bracket under the lid as far as I know. I have just found out our Hoover Soft wave washing machine had it's transit bracket fixed onto the back of the machine whereas with some machines like Service Quartz the transit bracket was fixed to the base of the machine so you had to tilt the machine on it's back or side to remove or install the bracket. I don't think there was ever a "universal standard" for transit brackets but maybe brackets or bolts inserted through the back always was the more common place for most washing machines.
You made my day honestly I forgot to take out the tranport bult and the socket off them my machine was making so much noise I was wondering why ... and this fixed it 🙌🏼 the instructions where do hard to read 🙌🏼
@@getreview what will happen if we forget to remove the packing bolt and run the washing machine ? will it damage the machine ? I ran it twice and the machine jumped like crazy when spining at high rpms
I still prefer the LG sorry. I just dislike the dark door on the LG. Where is this Bosch made by the way? My parents Serie 4 is made in Poland. My LG (similar to the one in your video minus the dark door) 8kg NFC washing machine is made in Poland. I like mins a lot and I think it's great that LG give the user a spanner and the anti slip pieces for the feet.
The quality and build on both machines are excellent, and yes, one of the major reasons to buy ether one is going to be personal taste and if it fits with the rest of the house / utility room. One of the main reasons why we don’t do side by side comparisons on quality products like this is that there always will be that personal taste that will cloud the final like/dislike decision, this prompts us to Review each one separately. All our reviews are on products that we think are great and we try to avoid reviews on low-quality items that we know will not appeal to anyone.
It is not just the cheap washing machines you have to out for, many of the expensive machines apart from Miele are made in China. The Chinese companies who make them sell them for as little as £130 each.
I wanted to see you removing that styrox plate that is under the machine. I struggled for ever with it, cos the washing machine was too heavy for me to lift alone, 70 kg, and I weigh 50 myself! Had to use all my willpower and imagination, but I did it! Next time I will pay for installation done by pros. 🐤
Yes i have complaint for your company.there is no reaction.i will give servicing for private .servicement is telling. There is no parts in company. This company is waste
when it was old.. now they are crap.. even bosch dishwashers are poor quality - you know how they are so cheap to sell but unfairly priced.. hmm makes me wonder
hope not! the one in this video was expensive as hell, but, its running like clockwork, IF this thing break down i will make a video on it, giving a full report, but for now lovin it!
Bosch are supposed to be quite good. They are better than Hotpoint/Indesit, Hoover/Candy or Beko. I would highly recommend Bosch or AEG to anybody who can't afford Miele.
Useful to watch before arrival of the machine and get a heads up on the task
thank you

yes they did, wow, not many remember this! Been a while since they were commonly used as I think to many ‘non removed’ accidents happened

Bosch, just got a dryer from them as well, a bit of a boring video though so have not posted it.

There are other identical machines sold with various brand names on them and all made by the same Chinese companies.

Why? You can't just say that without a reason! This one is still working and its been nearly a year, without any problems whatsoever.
I just did. You are making me nervous with your comment. Stop kidding me!
