That was a great video. And loved Will's meal as always. I was only just thinking today about poaching a big thick bit of snapper in some kind of broth or stock the placing it on a bed of rice and then making some kind of sauce to put over it .I'm thinking will has a great idea for a perfect sauce. But those rice balls done like that now that's brilliant. 👌 your video was brilliant Kelly.

Some great spearfishing in Key West. I did lots of Line Fishing out of Key Largo Fl in 1980 through 2000. One of our best ways to enjoy Fresh Mahi was the fillet and cut fish finger and fry in garlic and Butter dockside as our reward for a great day fishing. I like your sharp knives but after years of cleaning fish on the dockside. got to use an electric fillet knife to remove the skin. the two blades moving back and forth would do a nicer job when cleaning and skinning . I was fishing piers and bridges at 14 yr old and then from there offshore in a open wooden boat out of Boynton Inlet for my early learning fishing days

I loved this episode. I saw Aaron's video too and both of these videos are great. I love Aaron, Madeleine, and Will and it is great to see you with them. Mr. Finley taught Tipsy a bad new habit :). It was nice to see them together. Will did an amazing job preparing the food. Dinner looked like it was great and fun. All put together, this was a great video. first of all hey it is good to see you with new friends,, I did like the old ones but change happens
believe me I know I am 65
so on the fish sauce thing
I agree that that brand smell like crap and IMHO IS crap
here is how I solved the 'fish sauce " issue
I simply did a search on amazon for the ones they sold, and within one minute I could see that the more expensive ones actually could claim to being quality fish ( fermented) sauce
so I bought it,,,,,, and sure enough while it still had a little stink to it ,, I could tell it also had depth to the aroma,,, and then when I tasted a very small amount,,, I could see while being suoer salty there was definitely a fish quality that while strong was also appealing,,,,, especially when used in very very small amounts...... I would say like one teaspoon to a quart of liquid should be a could way to start,,,,,,, and in terms of cost,, I immediately realized that when using one teaspoon per usage, the botttle I got will last for years,,,,,
get back to me and I will get back to you with the exact name of the brand and the cost I paid
Great video! But a blast from my past seeing the Yankee Captain in the background of the fileting portion of the video. Fished it out of Gloucester, Ma so much they asked my brother and I to travel down with them to Florida on our off season up here where we would be taught everything about being a mate. Unfortuntly we both had very good jobs and had to decline. Still will make a trip down there soon for one of the 3 day trips they run.

I spent a year in Acapulco in my 20s. The first time I went diving to 28 feet, the sunlight was bouncing off the bottom, and you could see until your eyesight gave out, like on land.
