I do find PDM pretty similar notes in all of them. I really do like it though and most of my favorite fragrances are PDM so I’m looking forward to trying this 🧡

First thing I thought was….Man that’s reminding me of something in my Collection and then BOOM….it hit me….like a niche Boss Bottled Intense..which is fine by me as I only have 3/4 of a bottle left of that. Bummer it’s discontinued it’s great 🔥 keep up the great work 😊
Thanks Stuart! Yes, I also have a bottle of Boss Bottled Intense and it’s absolutely glorious! Definitely the best Hugo Boss have done in the fragrance game and so I have no idea why it’s discontinued!
Boss bottled intense was my signature from high school all the way up to 22yo and it being discontinued was the reason i got into learning about niche perfumes so it has a special place in my heart. So know that i read your comment about Alhair being very similar to it I'll just straight up blind buy it when it comes to my country 😅

I received my bottle today and after the first spray I love it, but it does remind me of a smoother version of Mercedes-Benz club black.
Yes I am also really enjoying it so far. It’s like a upmarket mix of Club Black, Stronger with You Intensely and Layton!

Hi George, Do you think this is redundant in a collection with angel's share, herod and layton? I haven't smelt it yet.
Well it depends on how much you like that style of scent, and how big your collection is. I wouldn’t say it’s redundant necessarily but it depended what other fragrances are on your list. I would always recommend sampling an expensive fragrance and seeing how much you love it

Which one would you prefer as a signature scent for fall/winter: Althair or Layton?
Really enjoy the new Althair, but that might be because I have worn Layton a lot of the last few years and Althair is a welcome change
Layton.
Signatures are signatures because I think they have multifaceted faces. They are like chameleons. Layton covers a TON of bases.
It’s inviting, fresh, rich, comfortable, sexy, masculine. It can be worn with a tshirt, long sleeve, sweater, blazer, suit. From work to dates to formal events.
Althair is inviting, fun, sexy, warm. Its essence is more casual and for dates, maybe a meeting. But it is more limited and more geared towards more relaxed encounters like walking in a pumpkin patch or on a walk with chai lattes.
All in all, Layton is a signature. Because if you could only have ONE fragrance for the rest of your life, 9.9/10 people would choose that
Althair is more specific

I got a sample on the way. I think from 2 places even (I don't know if they gave me 1 with my recent purchase).
Ohhh that ending of the video though - this clickbaity title is f*cking crazy for a scent that you ended up rating only a 7.5/10. That is average product. But I think it is even crazier that this scent is 9.0/10 on Parfumo with ~175 ratings when the underlying product is compared to designer scents from Azzaro & Armani.
Do u prefer althair or side effect??
Hard to say, but probably SE is a better fragrance. Althair is much sweeter than Side Effect so comes down to what kind of fragrance you want
The pronunciation of PDM Althaïr was wrong !!! 😊: there are 2 dots on the I😉, so it is Altha ir ☺️

This is nothing more than Mercedes Benz Club Black in an orange PDM bottle...🤷🏿♂️
Definitely some similarities but some differences also imo. Club Black is brilliant, just hard to find sometimes
