Put strawberries in with asparagus, they are good companion plants, the strawberries will act as a ground cover, and control weeds better.
I do have one bed with Asparagus and Strawberries maybe I need to turn that inground bed to all Strawberries in between
You really have a nice mix of various vegetables. We’re getting ready to get part of that storm that you and it will be here probably in the next two minutes. I need to put in more peppers, especially banana peppers or sweet peppers because I really want to use my glass jar that I have, a big one, and make some pickled peppers and keep them in the fridge. I only planted one plant this year and I don’t think that’s gonna give me enough. Thanks for sharing.

The garden looks fantastic. My favorite part is probably your peppers. I love all peppers. I’m doing the same thing. You are maybe a smaller version but I’ve already planned it so many green beans and also I did a lot of pickle pickles and I’ve already made 3 quarts this week and I’m probably gonna make two more next week of my homegrown pickles, I’m gonna make different type of pickles. I do want some spicy pickles but it looks fantastic. You finally done great great I know you’ve been working hard for years. …. It only gets better. 🌱🌱

Looks amazing!!! I enjoyed the complete garden tour. This is my first year growing amaranth, and I was wondering what in the world was going on, because all the leaves have holes. Now I know, the pests are eating it and hopefully will leave my cucumbers alone. I just happen to sow them near the cucumbers. Tfs

My asparagus is ontop of weed barrier fabric and i build a garden bed out of dog eared fence boards. I never have weeds .

I have a terrible time growing Zinnias! I planted 2 pkgs of new seed, I have THREE plants! So far no flowers! I used to have a 12 ft bed of Bachelor Buttons that came back every year, they made me so happy! I planted about 20 green bean seeds. Only 4 germinated! The vines are over 5ft tall, but no flowers so far! I’m wondering if it is worth it to keep trying to grow vegetables in the summer here. Everything has to be under shade cloth now that we are consistently over 100 degrees!

Do you plant all different watermelon seeds and melon seeds together? If so do you get a lot of cross pollination?
You can plant all varieties together the first year and ger exactly the plant you want... If I save seeds from that plant then next year they can be crossed...
