How long did it take you to know what soil you supposed to use. My garden failed because of disease my crops got. They was growing but not producing
Do a soil test and see what your soil needs

We didn't get but a dusting of snow, but we got some very cold temperatures, so I'm starting most of my seeds inside as well. ❤

Thank you for sharing. I heard of the soil blocks but have not attempted to try it. It’s cold here in Central Florida. I woke up to 41 degrees. I started seeds inside. Hopefully, they will germinate.

This freeze is a blessing for killing off the bugs and taking their numbers down. This past season my garden was constantly attacked by all kinds of bugs it was awful. The South needed that. ❤

I’ll have it on my channel but I am growing a couple flower gardens this year. One for me for heavy pollinators and a butterfly garden for my daughter. And I’m so excited. Strawflowers and delphiniums are on the list it will be my first year for those two. I’m most excited about growing multiple tall flowers and early bloomers. 😊

I grew the candy cane peppers last year because my mom like variegated plants. I absolutely fell in love with them. Perfect little snacking peppers that look fun, too.

I ordered my onion starts from Dixon Dale farm. They will be in this week. I'll make a video on how I plant them
@faithfamilyhomestead Thanks a million, I will look at their site. I watched the older video you did on onions. I cant figure out what Im doing wrong. Im going to get a spacing tool to see if that helps. My onions always look like green onions, the bulb doesnt form.🤷🏽♀️
Are you using onion starts? I had the same problem when I was using onion bulbs. Also, if your soil is tough, it'll be hard for bulbs to form.
@@faithfamilyhomestead I tried onion sets, starts and seeds! No luck with any.😔 I placed an order with Dixon Dale. My order should arrive next week. Will you plant your onions in this cold or will you use your greenhouse?
@zenoebiawashington-cohen4541 onions can take cold temps down to at least 17 once they are established. But I will not plant mine until next week when the lows are in the 30's and above so they can get established
