I just found out that Sunset Jesus was a real person from West Hollywood and also died a few years ago, just like Avicii he brought people from all places and environments together with a message of peace and unity and good vibes over all.
Its kinda sad to know that the two persons that inspired this song and its message are resting in peace now.

ya he was real person. He would walk around Hollywood and LA dressed as Jesus, and Sunset is the name of a major street in LA. Jesus would walk down Sunset from time to time, so he garnered the name Sunset Jesus. Other bands have written songs about him too!

man... this song just got a whole lot deeper! especially this small line between 2:21 - 2:25 . Such a sad day for the EDM world. I never got to attend a concert of his or seen him live. Made great music, caused earthquakes with his music, and connected with fans through his music. This man changed the game, pioneered, and became a legend amongst DJs! his name, legacy, music, and the experiences he gave fans, will live on forever! Now that day has come where he's "...the one in the sky...", Up there right now probably throwing heaven a massive party! haha...

When I heard Avicii passed away, I went on a marathon.. all these different songs spoke to me and reached out to me.

Feels me with immense sadness but hope.. this song is upbeat, even though it sounds like life is somewhat overwhelming and not what one once thought it to be.

So I'm glad he took the drop and used it here, but I like the original, the remix and Sunset Jesus so much. They're in my top 5 from each album
