- Today I'm going to try and Platinum Batman Arkham Knight on the hardest difficulty. This epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy is considered by many to be the best game in the entire series. So of course I had to take it on next, especially as someone who never got to experience it when it first launched back in 2015, and I was NOT ready for the twists and turns this story would take me on...

If you're confused of how Scarecrow's toxin didn't change Batman into Joker aka. The Batman who Laughs, at the end of the game. When Scarecrow injected Batman for the first time it did work bc that was Batman's biggest fear (letting The Joker live on and the villains win)and he turned into Joker aka. The Batman who Laughs, and when Joker started laughing it pissed Scarecrow off bc he thought his toxin didn't work but when he injected Joker (Batman) again we saw Joker's biggest fear (being forgotten) and that is what happened Batman made Joker believe he was forgotten and Joker had nothing to help him control Batman again bc Gotham was saved and Joker was this time actually dead, and that's why Batman regained control of his body and defeated Scarecrow and Joker

Fun fact if you pay attention the game forshadows the twist about barbara very early on by having the joker slide the gun over to her, the joker is an ilusion on batmans head and cannot interact with the physical world so him being able to touch the gun is a nice little node to keen eye players to show them the entire scene is on bruces head with scarecrow manipulating the vision with cleaver choice words while batman is suceptible

This is my favorite Arkham game, and I'm happy you were able to get through it. I actually recently got every achievement for it on Steam (I never touched the AR Challenges when I was younger). Hopefully you get to your 100 Platinum trophies milestone!

If you haven't tried it before, I recommend The Evil Within. It's a fantastic game, rated a 9/10 in difficulty (but with a good enough guide, it lowers to about a 6/10 difficulty) and takes about 50 hours. You have to play it a minimum of 3 times: once on Survival difficulty WITHOUT upgrading anything with green gel (XP), once in a 5-hour speedrun (can be done on New Game+), and once on Akumu difficulty (one hit and you're dead).
I have a lot of suggestions for plats.
Sonic frontiers
Ratchet and clank rift apart ( I know I already suggested that but I wanted to mention it for consistency)
Elden ring ( it’s platinum is only as hard as you make it)
Persona 5 royal
Bendy and the ink machine ( for Halloween :))
Alien isolation ( prepare to suffer for this one XD)

I got this platinum literally two days after this video was released. But going for it in Hard mode isn’t that crazy since New Story + is locked in Nightmare mode where you can’t even see signatures above striking enemies.

Something you absolutely love to see is that while the fandom is 100% supportive of objective problems with this game, they will go out of their way to defend this game and the franchise when people talk in bad faith that’s disingenuous and flat out WRONG (cough cough Under The Mayo)
Yea game is great, Batmobile is overdone but besides that it’s a masterpiece
