I Delivered Tavarish's New Aston Martin V12 Vantage S!

- My friend, Freddy 'Tavarish' bought an Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and I collected the car to deliver it to him! With the purchase coming from Miami, it became my job to deliver to car up to Orlando for the CarTrek series with Ed Bolian from VINwiki and Tyler Hoover from Hoovie's Garage. Their mission was to buy a used car for the same price as a brand new Corvette C8, how do you think the V12 Aston stacks up?!
During my tour in the USA in early February, I spent a bit of time in Florida including Miami and Orlando. As coincidences had it, the timing lined up perfectly that I could bring the car up for Freddy to the Wrench Every Day HQ, in place of him having to book a transporter. Of course it has been kept under wraps until now as the car features as Freddy's entry for the CarTrek show alongside Ed and Hoovie, who chose a Lamborghini Gallardo Syder and Ferrari 360 Spider respectively.
He made the decision to buy the Aston Martin fairly blind, so I went along to collect it, have a thorough look around it, and then get on the road for the 4 hour journey or so. At the end of which, I had the honor of handing over his new car to deliver it to him at the workshop. Of course we also filmed his famous Lamborghini Murcielago and his very smashed McLaren 675LT, but it's fun to reveal now the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S!

I never realized that the challenge for for mid-engine vehicles only. I thought it was just restricted to the price of a C8. Freddy may have stretched the rules a tad, but this is a drop dead gorgeous car, and the clear winner in my eyes.

Would you maybe do a video on exotic/sports cars that are worth buying for a lower income bracket? Or cars that were more expensive but have gone down in resale like the Maserati Ghibli and such?
First gen boxster, you get a 2 seater, mid engined sportcar and a mint one is like 15k. But you have to live with people complaining that you can not afford a 911

Shmee. The Vantage is a great car. Like you I have a GT8 manual, V12SM, V12Roadster. Although these are all manual, please don't belittle the Sportshift box. It is not possible to put a dual clutch into this vehicle and the technology was available, but it would detract from what the vehicle is all about and you would add considerable weight. As an Aston owner you have to appreciate the ethos behind them, especially the Vantage. Keep up the interesting work.

Talk about a small world, I live in Fort Lauderdale and I live off Commercial Blvd 8:00 so i know exactly where you were about to get on the Florida Turnpike to go North to Orlando. Great Video as always and CHEERS!!
Hey Tim i have a couple general question here.
1. How hard is it to adapt from left-hand drive to right-hand drive?
2. What is it like to switch from driving on the left side of the road to the right side?
3. What is it to drive with a left-hand drive car on the left side of the road?
Since you switch quite often i would like to know these.
Funfact: for a while, the german "Blitzer" (speeding cameras) would automaticly put a rectangle on the passenger side of the picture for privacy reasons. So if you have more drivers registered on the car, the german Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (the institution which issues your drivers license) couldn't assign the points to your drivers license you still have to pay the ticket of course but you wouldn't be fearing the loss of your license.
I don't know if this is still the case so please don'T take this at face value.
Shmee ... Man you were pretty close to my place of residence (although not the safest side). Wish I would've known, could've met you at Flanigan's for a bourbon, outstanding baby back ribs, and a chin wag before your journey north! Keep up the good content, really need it these days

Small turn left on topic here. I am so used to splitting lanes in CA I do a double take when I see bikes in traffic in other states. Now I'm not one of those guys who dive bombs you speed. I'd never want you to spill your coffee while reading a text. Sorry couldn't resist but I do my best not to piss drivers off and once or twice a year I do tap a mirror and when I do I will find you and pull in front and put my blinker on so if you want to pull over and have a chat I will do so. I've only cause damage once with a very large bike I had just bought (KTM ADV) and the guy was happy well happyish that we were able to take care off that issue for him as it was my fault. It's a little scary sometimes being in between a few tons of trash compactors that move when in traffic. Although you would probably not be able to hear your glorious V12 with my exhaust and clutch clunking away right next to you.
You’re both the friendliest car you tubers, but with such vastly different content. I could see a collab where Shmee wants to add a classic to his collection which tavarish sources and fixes and mods, like an escort cosworth or the like.
