Congratulations you guys! Thank y’all so much for the precious help on all your videos . I did the exact same process this year by moving to Korea with my husband from LA. And you guys cannot imagine how helpful your videos were (even for AAA international permit) thank you , thank you thank you 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this vlog so much as I am in the same situation right now. I am going to renew the visa and I would like to have a two years extension just like you.
Hello, can you tell me where did you take this Korean Culture class? I did attend Sejong institute 3 semesters and I did go to Korean culture classes too but they didn't give me any certificate from the culture class, only certificate for Korean language. Thank you in advance
It’s called the Early Adaptation Program or 조기적응프로그램. On socinet you’ll be able to register for it. It's an in-person class but they have it all over Korea.
how long can you stay on the F6 visa ?, And shortly after the date of entry you have to extend the visa correct ? what should i write on the Application point " Intendet Period of stay " ?
Sure! It’s a 3 hour class called the Early Adaptation Program. You can sign up for it on socinet. There are other ways to qualify for a longer extension like if you have children together. But I’m not exactly sure. It’s best to call the immigration office and ask.
When it’s time to renew they’ll send a letter listing the required documents. I didn’t need a medical certificate but I think it depends on each person.
In general: Passport, Residence CArd, Application form, marriage certificate, copy of resident registration (of spouse), documents proving place of residence (you can use the notice they send you), certificate of family relations (and one in the name of the child if for each child, if you have children), some people have to submit a TB test depending on country of origin If you are divorced or anything, this could be different....

Can you share the link for the online course you took? I'd like to take that before I renew my F6 visa as well.

Hello. could you please tell me what are the requirements to renew visa from f-6-1 to F6? thank you! god speed
When you renew and f-6-1, it still stays an f-6-1, just with a new expiration date.

When you first get it it’s usually for 1 year. But later you can renew it to last 2 or 3 years. Depending on your situation.
@@LetsGoTony Thank you Tony :)
Could please tell me more about this program. Is it a must to have two years extension?

@@EonniKim they mailed us the letter a couple months before the renewal date. To our home address.
What are the documents they asked??
You should receive a letter in the mail reminding you to renew. That letter will list the required documents.

Did you need to prove your language skills? or Having TOPIK certificate?
It depends. In our case it was reverse. My wife demonstrated her English level.
