Yeah you can go back. I think there’s also a counter that tells you how many you answered/skipped. So you can go back and make sure you answered all.

I think it depends on your situation. As long as you meet the requirements then it’s pretty straightforward.

I think it’s asking how long you plan to stay in Korea. But I’m not sure. Best to ask an expert on that.

When you first get it it’s usually for 1 year. But later you can renew it to last 2 or 3 years. Depending on your situation.

And for proof of income, the landlords don’t check because you already give them a fat deposit anyway 😆. But some people get a loan from the bank to get the rental deposit money, and in that case the bank does check the financial history and stuff.

@@AlejandraRojas-r9g Yeah it depends on the embassy you go to submit the application. So we emailed the embassy closest to us and they gave us the exact list we needed. In our case they didn’t require the FBI background check. It’s been a while but I think it took about 3 weeks to get the visa. They give you a site where you can go check. Then you have 90 days to enter Korea.

When it’s time to renew they’ll send a letter listing the required documents. I didn’t need a medical certificate but I think it depends on each person.

@@EonniKim they mailed us the letter a couple months before the renewal date. To our home address.

You should receive a letter in the mail reminding you to renew. That letter will list the required documents.

In general: Passport, Residence CArd, Application form, marriage certificate, copy of resident registration (of spouse), documents proving place of residence (you can use the notice they send you), certificate of family relations (and one in the name of the child if for each child, if you have children), some people have to submit a TB test depending on country of origin If you are divorced or anything, this could be different....

The requirements depends on each person, their citizenship, how long they've been in Korea, how many children they have, etc. So I'd suggest you call immigration and ask them about your specific situation. Good luck!

When you renew and f-6-1, it still stays an f-6-1, just with a new expiration date.

Sure! It’s a 3 hour class called the Early Adaptation Program. You can sign up for it on socinet. There are other ways to qualify for a longer extension like if you have children together. But I’m not exactly sure. It’s best to call the immigration office and ask.
