Just brainstorming here, you keep the hood where it is now and if you're ever getting chased by villains you hurry and pull over and go all Megan Fox circa Transformers 1 and act like you have engine trouble. The bad guys lean in to see if they can spot the problem and BAM you neck chop them with the hood! A more realistic scenario would be the fake break down to highjacking but you seem like too good of guys for that so Id go with it as a plan b for getting away from villains.

your high ... the things going up and down on bumps all day and you are going to notice a shock tower a 1/16 of an inch out of wack? its closer than factory stuff
