I really didn’t like how Violet was so volatile with her mom, especially since Kristy had it in her heart to forgive Bonnie. Yet Bonnie was violet’s favorite
Similar to Christy, they have a pattern of blaming their parents for things they really weren’t responsible for. There’re plenty of reasons to blame Bonnie and Christy for shit parenting, but they end up blaming them later on for things they didn’t do, or getting worked up over trivial things. In this case it’s on Violet. Sure it’s her right to not tell her future fiancé she once had a child, but it’s on her for assuming Christy and Bonnie would know to never bring it up. Violet could have said to keep the first child a secret. Now when the secret got exposed unintentionally, instead of taking responsibility, she deflects and doesn’t appreciate how it would be an honest thing to happen in a healthy relationship that could be worked out. Instead she uses it as an excuse that they can’t move forward with a relationship. If she doesn’t want to have a relationship for how Christy raised her in childhood that’s one thing, but exploding and telling someone that this is another reason to justify cutting someone out of their life is incredibly immature and inappropriate especially when it was on Violet to have had that discussion with Christy and Violet if she didn’t want her fiancé to know about her first kid.
This is the problem with middle aged men, they genuinely think that young women will love and want them forever. 🤔 Violet literally was partying, out with her friends all the time and got bored of his old self pretty much straight away. 🤷♀️
Men like to tell themselves stories. They think the solution to their dating woes is to just find a younger woman with "less baggage," but then they end up getting played by a young woman who is not ready to settle down. In order to find a good partner, you need to do the work on yourself. Men would rather find a younger, "easier" woman then just fix their own personality flaws.
@@chrisgonzales4420 😂 Young women will always have more sexual opportunities, so it’s not the same thing at all. It’s apples and oranges, men will never have the same chances with women, young and old, they get rejected a lot more, so having a regular, monogamous partner is a godsend for most guys, with the exception of millionaires.
@@chrisgonzales4420 I mean, yeah, he's 40+ years old and should know better, and so should those 40+ women. If you're at that age and still looking for barely legal teenagers or could be your child's age, that's a sign of immaturity and being emotionally stunted.
I mean that’s your judgement. You can do that. But legally it isn’t illegal. I don’t think it’s gonna end well for many. The generation gap will end in having nothing in common. But 19 is an adult. 42 is far above that. Which I think is weird. But it’s also not my business. What I mean is…have your judgements but if the two parties are of consenting age? Maybe just keep it to yourself. Cuz it doesn’t hurt you on any level. Or the world.
Yeah, it does hurt the world. Studies show the most advantageous age range for couples is within 4 years apart. That is what is healthiest and best for society.

I mean I get it when you had an alcoholic drug addict negligent parent, but plots like these in earlier episodes and seasons really never properly built up or showcased how Violet felt it would be the best decision to completely cut her mother out.
Violet is a teenager that doesn't want to admit that she is just like her mother because when she raises a kid it is going to be the exact same relationship till she is grows up and takes responsibility for her own actions yeah she's spoiled and ungrateful but that just means Christy better is because she learned from her mistakes and tried to be a better person also every kid is nice to there grandmother cause there not the parent.
I just love it when mothers say that their children would never lie to them or do anything awful. I had mothers blaming me for their sons behavior or their daughter's behavior and then calling me to apologize and asking me to get back together with their sons or be friend's with their daughters again because they found out the truth, and that was that I wasn't guilty of doing any of the stuff that I was accused of doing!

Thankfully I don't have my toxic mother in my life. She did teach the kind of mother i didn't want to be. By the way she chose to not have contact with me & I'm good with that. My kids experienced her as young adults & decided they didn't want that.
I don't mind the fact that people have age got relationships. Best believe I'm not letting my 19-year-old daughter date a 42-year-old man. Violet was just a stuck up brat.
I understand why. Violet didn't know the old drunk and crazy Bonnie. She got to know her grandmother sober.
They totally ruined Violet's storyline; they showed no growth. I missed the kids by the end of the series though.
She should’ve told him she had a baby already - I don’t see why she got mad at her mom, especially if her mom didn’t know Violet didn’t tell
Because most men are judgy, and to have a normal relationship you have to hide certain aspects of your life.
