Troy and Nick commentating random stuff while racing is like the most entertaining thing ever, these guys are naturals and have been for over a decade which is just crazy
Troy’s consistency was actually crazy, he finished 3.47 place (in comparison to Nicks 4.67, which is still really good) and finished in the top 5 15 times (in comparison to Nicks 11)
Right, people can say what they want about Mario Kart Wii’s RNG, but Troy’s game sense, awareness, and ability to adapt to tight situations is crazy

The track Castle in the Sky is based on the movie "Castle in the Sky". The track takes you through various scenes in the movie from start to finish. Like a lot of the newer custom tracks, the layout takes a bit to get used to, but playing it for the first time is an experience like nothing else.
An unbelievable amount of work is still being put in not only by the creators of all these tracks, but also the CTGP council and the greater community to test, optimize, and make these tracks incredibly polished and suitable for both casual and competitive audiences. You're in for a treat by doing this, there's still loads to be discovered in future sessions!

The editing with Nick's POV really makes these so much more enjoyable to watch, especially compared to older flounderfest episodes.
46:08 when Nick mentioned about having the same colour palette, it reminded me of the rabbit hole track in the forest section.
This was very well one of my favorite FlounderFest videos of all time! The close races and the relatively close GP in general made for pure excitement. In addition, I'm quite liking the longer videos and I love seeing actual nitro CTGP CTs since I play them often. It's almost like RT9999 and FF have combined into one super league. Thanks for racing Troy!

You guys should collab on the ctgp world records video. Troy usually knows custom tracks better and Nick is not gonna have the expertise and history on most of these tracks, that he usually has for regular tracks, so reacting together might make it more entertaining.

I'm curious as to how the music for these custom tracks is decided, but whoever makes those choices I respect the Persona music. There's mostly p5 but I've noticed some others and even some decently obscure ones too
actually it's just the base game music, but people often like to put their own custom music to replace it
I am pretty sure Troy is using Shadow's music pack. You can listen to that playlist on RUclips :)

@@AbsoluteLunatic123 I’m doing much better than I was 5 to 6 years ago by a long shot, but that game set me back as I hated the fan base and I didn’t want to become someone I wasn’t as I didn’t like the influence and popularity it had during it’s peak in 2018 and 2019.
There’s literally no worse game ever. I don’t understand why it’s so popular it’s just popular for no reason. Tbf im pretty sure 90% of Fortnite players just play it to fit in. I’m glad though were not that sort of peopel!

it's like this in the base game- the final lap version of a song is a separate file from the normal version, so people who do custom music if they want can choose a different song for the final lap
