Hey! Love the episode and the series! I just finished Tai--Bo-Wani trio the other day and discovered that at the end of the quest you can buy two karambuan pots for 2 gp each and they sell for almost 2k. How much gp-ph could you make from world hopping these?
You should uncharge amulet of glory (6) for a profit, you can already sell them for a profit at (4) charge

Fun facts: Multiple people can break a barrel in the same tick. This causes multiple barrels to respawn filling and overlapping on a square in the middle of that room (which can trap players for a while). The number of entities could theoretically hit the world’s max causing no more NPCs to spawn anywhere on that world.

A paramaya ticket is a ticket that allows a player to spend the night in the dormitory of the Paramaya Inn. It looks identical to an Archery ticket. Gaining access to the dormitory is a purely aesthetic feature which has no function, and players cannot actually sleep in the beds there.
One ticket may be purchased from Kaleb Paramaya for 35 coins or a pack of five can be bought for 175 coins. This item was made untradeable on 22 January 2007 because of its use in scams.
Paramaya tickets can sometimes be found inside barrels.
It was mainly used in RuneScape Classic. Players had to sleep in a bed to reduce their fatigue so they could train their stats. Those without a sleeping bag would have to buy a Paramaya Ticket to use the bed in Shilo Village.
The barrels were used to obtain the dark/glowing dagger which is a niche weapon you could use during the quest to defeat the demon. If you broke the barrels before killing the demon you got the dark dagger and if you broke them afterwards you would have gotten the glowing dagger.

If anyone hasn't suggested it yet, you can probably use a bolt pack from the crossbow salesman in Keldagrim in order to carry an extra +2 grapples per trip!!

If you kill the lvl 99 giant frogs in the Lumbridge swamp cave, you can get the giant frog legs as a drop. Banking at the culimancer's chest and having the eternal fire active helps a lot with this. The legs sell for 2-5k on the GE depending on the day. Hudo in the Grand Tree will also buy unnoted legs for 1k, being close to the bank in the Grand Tree makes it convenient for Ironmen. Not a huge money maker as it has gotten me up to 250k/hr, but it is an unusual and not often exploited by many

Perhaps another reason the barrels were there was so players couldn't get stuck in that location. The Home Teleport spell was introduced in 2006.
I remember my brother got stuck behind some spider webs after dropping his knife.
I went back and played classic when they reopened it temporarily, and I did all the quests for the legends cape. I had to buy a soul rune from the wizard's guild in Yanille for the quest, but I didn't have the magic level yet. I used a wizard's mind bomb from the Rising Sun in Falador to boost my magic level to enter the guild. After I bought the soul rune I explored a bit, and when I went to leave, it wouldn't let me through the door because I didn't have the magic level! Fortunately I'd had the foresight to buy an extra mind bomb in case I accidentally drank one prematurely, so I drank that and quickly escaped before my level dropped again. I could easily have been trapped there forever!

Cool vid, would it be worth adding a date on the final gp/h slide to get context as when it was recorded at that price?
With the latest Forestry update, making rations with Yew/Bass:
80 per bass
83 per yew leaf
Produces 20 rations.
Rations are (currently) 39 ea, meaning 780 gross or 617 net per tick (~1.8 seconds)
3600 seconds/hr, 1.8 seconds/tick = 2000 ticks, or 40000 rations (assuming instant banking)
Gross 1.56m/hr, minus 326k/hr
= Net 1.234 mil/hr (slightly less due to banking)
I haven't checked the price in a minute, but if you've beaten Zogre flesh eaters and you made sure to give Uglug Nar the relicym balm so he stocks it, you can make a lot. Dueling ring tele to CW, run down, buy a full inv, tele back, hop worlds, repeat. Decant to 4 doses at the GE before selling them and it's easy money.
Idea for a method, spam teleporting amulets of glory (6) into uncharged glories. Currently, it's about a 2k margin per amulet. Love the videos, keep up the great stuff!
Did you remember to subtract the runes and unpowered orbs from the Viyeldi Caves barrel profit? I didn't see it in the calculations but maybe I missed it.
Could you have increases your GP per hour on the red barrels by either:
1. Not collecting junk loot
2. Breaking multiple barrels and barraging the NPCs (or any attack that can hit multiple enemies), since it is a multi combat zone
I'd love to see him revisit this one with those optimizations to actually go for the highest possible gp/hr!
Barraing the NPC's would most likely kill any profit from those red barrels, even if he only grabbed the 1 dose prayer pots as drops. Remember, he only made 56k/hr at the barrels. I can't imagine it'd be that much more following your recommendations.

Go to tempoross and collect fishing nets. Just shift drop until you have 28 for invy, bank and repeat. On the first of Oct they were just under 1k each for whatever reason. I made bank!
For your spreadsheet, you should input the amount of items gathers (because it will be a fixed amount) and have a live ge price of the items so it will be updated when prices change. This can’t take into accounts items trading above or below the ge price but it would be good for people to see it at any time in the future to see if a method is still viable.

That's an awesome idea - I'm unfortunately limited with my knowledge on how to make an advanced spreadsheet like that, but maybe it's something I can revamp in the future. Thanks for the idea!

I think the barrels you should just do some maths on what items to bank or not, aka gp per inv slot to be worth taking, since you took a lot of junk to the bank, making trips shorter and worth less, more travel downtime. May have been idk 250k gp/h but we wont know

I highly recommend the methods where you buy things from in-game shops. Not only are you making money from people's laziness, you are also removing GP from the game when you buy from shops.
Love the red barrels. Seeing the mugger and all those old school mobs and an inventory full of loot you’d see in the old days, nostalgia boulevard.
In regards to bank deposit boxes with that bolts of cloth method (or any other bank deposit box, you might be able to speed up your process by clicking USE on the item and then clicking the bank deposit box. This will just show you a speech menu with how many you want to store. This i think only saves you time depending on your UI layout

You can grab hammers from the chest at Motherlode Mine, with a bank only about 10 tiles away.
Hammers sell for anything between 90-100gp a pop, can probably collect quite a few within an hour.

Don’t forget anytime you’re doing a method where do drop stuff, you can shift right click and then change left click to drop.

The toad crunchies depending on your cooking lvl is more gp an hour. Burned toad crunchies are worth about a extra 5k each to collectors

Killing shades in the Dungeon of the minigame Shades of Morton minigame the 2nd hardest ones are like 5k each and easy to kill. Should be at least 500k per hour.

Your grapple run could've made it to 1k if you used the deposit box next to teleport spot in crafting guild. Well, maybe. Maybe not but it's a great deposit box.

Me and a buddy back in the day used to run baby impling jars to the zanaris hunter minigame and trade them for empty jars, making about 1mil/hr,

Wouldn't it be better to sell 100 per world with the javelin method so that once you wrap over, the previous sales have all, or mostly disappeared from the shop? Also ends up giving you more money per javelin. In general, shop & hop methods should never make you wait around for the stock to go down... sitting around is just pure loss to gp/h, while continuing to hop more than you would have but still making money amortizes the gp/h against the increased time spent on hopping. There's always going to be some balance point and I haven't calculated this out but my intuition would say that it's always better to sell fewer items to the shop to guarantee that you can continue selling. It's a whole another matter if you accept the fact that you have to wait, and simply do something else while you wait... but then I'd argue that it's no longer a "consistent" money maker.
Ready to feel like you need to make a 3rd episode with cloth collection? Why not use the bank method, but bring logs with you, have the sawmil make planks, put planks in plank sack, buy cloth. Repeat? Then you get planks and cloth, is that faster than just cloth? It is more unique than just cloth :)

Buying compost in a farming shop. Buy 10 packs of compost, next world, buy 10 more packs, next world, open 20 packs, buy 10 packs, open 10 packs, repeat.
10k profit per world, when the margin is 10 gp per compost.
I can buy around 240k compost in 1 hour.
All of the low volume methods are basically obsolete after these videos come out.

Not sure how obscure or unusual it is, but making Gloves of Silence might be interesting.
There is a rough 1,000GP profit per pair of gloves made and it's not too far away from a bank.
It's absolutely not going to be the most profitable method per hour, might not even sell instantly looking at the daily volume sold, but it should be around 13k profit per inventory and perhaps unusual.

I did that first mith grapple one like 15years ago. It sure it unusual now, so many other new better methods.
Here is one money maker. Teleport to Yanille, trade to Aleck in the hunter store, buy butterfly jars for 1gold, teleport to closest bank, like Seer's Village or crafting guild, repeat. ~300k/h with my lazy ass.

I have an idea for an unusual money maker. I was flipping amulet of glory 6 and accidentally bought it for 1k higher than max price and got stuck with 10k at max price. if i sold them all back id lose a million gp. then i saw that amulet of glory 4 is actually 1500 gold more than glory 6. its absolute shit but you can teleport to edgeville over and over with an amulet of glory 6 and actualy make a profit. needless to say i did this for 2 inventories and im just gunna accept the 1 million gp loss. but i think it fits the series perfectly
omg omg omg omg my money making method got put into the video. im mellowt and the mithril grapple method was one i found while grabbing grapples for armadyl with my gim group so wed have backups to get our stuff back if we died

The javelin method is processed incorrectly and unfairly in my opinion. Active time is different from waiting time. Just because you need to wait in the middle for the shop timers to reset doesn't mean you're actively doing anything in that time. It's still a 2.6m of active time method which makes it incredible.
You don't include GE buying or selling wait times with other methods, so why include the wait time in this method?

Use Runelicht and HOLD ALT and select a new left-click option for ANYTHING in the game.
Now the left click could be drop and not use.
Great for things like drop collecting methods.

You should try looting at vyrewatch sentinels, so many of these people are so afk. I have brought telegrab runes to pick addy plates and runite ore drops whenever I go. I bet you could make decent profit hopping between worlds and just grabbing drops
You could optimize the grapple method a bit by setting up windows mousekeys as detailed in this vid: ruclips.net/video/5uwOIee2-Z4/видео.html
then you could just have the mouse jump between dropping the grapple and taking a new one

Buying and selling gold leafs, marble blocks and magic stones In keldagrim is still mad profit. You need a fair bit of cash to get you going but you average 30-50k profit per item depending on how long ur willing to wait.
