- We have one tree in our yard, and it's an apple tree. Once in a while these little guy will be attracted to the rotten apples not knowing what will happen. I guess : )
Anyway, this poor little guy had a choir trying to eat his share of the food out back.

Oh sure, when a squirrel stumbles around drunk, it's cute.

Last week?
Last time I was that drunk I had to get a ride to White Castle for some sliders.
We used to have a wild cherry tree in the neighborhood and every year usually mocking birds would get drunk and fall everywhere. This was my first time seeing a drunk squirrel. After I stopped laughing I said, "poor critter". Maybe a bunny or chippie will be snockered tomorrow:)

I grew up watching all the animals party. Squirrels, opossums, raccoons and every bird. Raising hell squawking, fighting and flying into the side of the house. Great times.

Now, I know why the squirrels in my backyard ate all the fallen apples I dumped in my garden for composting. Those apples weren't rotten, they were FERMENTED.

In 1964-65 I lived in Michigan. I lived in part of basement, I really liked it. We had a kitchenette, pool table. Do you have a basement...just curious? Because you got a lot of snow in Illinois.
