With the amount of leaks going on and so much of the current build of Deadlock being leaked. What do you guys overall think about the game and if this will affect the development of the game or will they continue with it? let me know down below!

Looks great so far. Hopefully we get some more vibrant color's to complement its somewhat cartoonish design. Also can't wait to play that 2nd hero (don't remember the name). I've seen gameplay of him and he looks reallllyy intresting.
@@rickyrockstar1233usually lighting is the last thing that dev teams work on. With better lighting game should look a lot better
They don't have a NDA for testers, only a "Not to be a dick" which is not really a NDA more or less a handshake to not share it publicly, witch was broken as you seen.

uncle dane was showing his friends on a discord call and one of his friends were recording it as well as not tell him they were. he doesn't know which one it was either.
they very much have an NDA, i think they just cant do much with around 100 players playtesting the game

Though from the clips I've seen VIndicta can't one shot opponents, I think she applies bleed or something instead

@@anuninterestingname6293 Both enemies were already low on health but she does 1485 & 1627 damage on the two while judging from gameplay so far most heroes have between 500-1600 health depending on passive upgrades so Vindicta can one-shot kill most if not all heroes depending on whether they have health upgrades and whether Vindicta has damage upgrades which could render her a one-shot kill no matter what with headshots
As a 10+ year masters level Smite PC player.. im telling you right now, The OW/Valorant/CSGO players who have never played a MOBA seriously are going to get obliterated in this game by MOBA vets. You have to understand building, counterbuilding, leveling power spikes, minion stacking, teamfight strategy.. being good at landing head shots looks to be the least important thing here. It took me about 500 hours to really play Smite conquest correctly back in 2012, as my first MOBA. The genre has a massive learning curve just from a knowledge aspect not even mechanical requirement
Are there items in this game? If not I don't think OW players will get obliterated

It's almost like valve teased a certain 3rd game at the end of this one VR title they made, but they decided to focus on.... what ever this valorant 3rd person esque shooter is.

this game remembers me of Paragon, a third person moba from Epic Games that got shutdown
Id say besides the literal way you control your character and fight, it is much more of a moba, like entirely so. Even heard that playtesters with a pro Dots background pretty much layed waste to the Overwatch pros lol. I think it will bring in a lot of hero shooter players come in, but it will have a lot more strategy with the economy and such.
its definitely closer to 1920s time frame than 1950s although obviously in an alternate universe.
it's so easy to get into the game i invited like 10 of my friends and they all got game keys the next day it seems they want people to know about the game

I've heard of a new game valve has been working on but with this game I didn't think it'd be "Deadlock" specifically more neon prime and citadel from other videos.

Well we should have good art style but I annoy to have realistic with some fantasy make game break world. Those call of duty are spin off with strange and does not match like Japan sword guy out fit. But for this game it could work as user can custom the character and fantasy style.

I do hope they distinguish the style a bit more. It looks nice, but I could definitely confuse it with other games that have a similar style. Definitely better than the Sci-fi look though! I Idk I prefer a more grungy sci-fi look, so the more sci-fi fantasy angle is better. Still I know they can improve it a lot more
yeah I'm liking the 1950s new york. Colors do look a bit bland but I know there's definitely more bound to change with the game.

No please, even if the game is not good, I need Valve to release a new game
Please, do NOT hype Deadlock. Deadlock will be reliant on the same antiquated, un-cared for build of VAC that Counterstrike 2 and Team Fortress 2 rely on at present. If you know the state of either of these two games at this time, what that means for Deadlock should scare you shitless. It means a game that will be dead on arrival because it will instantly be plagued by spinbot snipers one-shotting actual players from across the map while mic-spamming audio vomit and spamming child pornography website links in the in-game text chat.

God damn hell, not another "light cartoon hero shooter" I'm fed up. I waited 6 years for team fortress to be viable, valve ignored us and plan to release a game that looks like another IP and another hero shooter. Fuck valve, sell your IPs to people that care for them, and keep your dota and cs2 for you I don't care. Remember it's been about twenty years since the last HL2...
