Question: What did you do to get the copyright strikes? I'm asking because I want to avoid such strikes myself as I plan to releasing videos with Ninjago clips in them. Your experiences would help me know how much I'd need to edit or transforms these clips in my video.
Oh Ok so this is the best thing to do , usually if its above 30 seconds it gets striked all the crystalized clips I uploaded are copyright free since its 30 seconds or below but I got strikes since I upload bundled clips which you SHOULDNT do so I recomend use 30 second clips to make videos/compilations and if it does exceed 30 seconds , put another 10 seconds in bestween and contine the original 30 second clips that will probably work , but not always , there is a much much lower chance like really low chance for lego to strike you if the clips used in your videos are below 30 seconds btw Obi wan im a huge huge fan of yours (I dont think you remember me and thats normal) Like I seen you comment on alteast 120 videos even on Ninjago , star wars and teen titan videos YOUR AWESOME! hope I helped sry for late reply I was out of station in a L I T E R A L village lacking wifi
@@ninjagofansince2011 Ok, keep the clips under 30 seconds. So back to back clips are ok? Like if I'm trying to make a review of an episodes or a video essay I should keep keep using different clips under 30 seconds for the background footage? Follow up question, does lowering the clip quality deter strikes? Also does muting the audio deter strikes as well? And thanks for the advice. Don't worry, I totally remember you. I see you around in the comments of your videos and remember commenting on your channel before, I like your videos.
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi aww tysm ok if you use background clips yes below 30 seconds should be fine then you change to another scene of Ninjago below 30 seconds and according to my recollection reducing the quality of the clips do prevent strikes the quality has to be incredibly low (like making the video half of the half of the video resolution like uploading a video but half the upper side of the video being black and the other half playing the video) which I highly recommend NOT TO DO like if you reduce it to 200p or 360 p , youtube will still recongnize it so thats the last thing you wana do and muting usually doesnt help at all , its usually a visual claim unless your using a song , muting doesnt help and just tellin from 2 I hav 1 strike , the strike went yesterday (I know you know this but just to make sure if you do get a copyright strike it usually goes within 90 days or less and once I get 2/3 strikes , I do a channel shutdown the MOST important and essential rule is the 30 second rule , its highly effective)

And one last question, did you usually received a take down request first and then that escalated to a strike? Or is Lego or whoever sending out strikes first and not basic take down requests?
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi I had the same question answer is NO , LEGO HAS NO REGARD AND DOESNT SEND A REQUEST , they will immediately strike usually really quickly from my observation they strike within 2 days but sometimes rarely they will region block your content to only greenland and denmark viewers , tbh LEGO has been very fortunate with my channel I come to 2 strikes often but not 3 , if it goes to 3 , R.I.P channel and I heavily advice you to be careful , your channel has ALOT MORE quality content and subscribers (and usually even if it exceeds 1 nano second of 30 seconds its counted as copyright so I usually try my best to trim to 29 seconds and just incase if your planning to upload multiple videos , upload 1 first and wait for a 3-7 days , if your safe then upload the rest , usually even if above 30 seconds are in your video it usually isint striked just loses monetization value and if it gets popular it gets region blocked but if you upload Ninjago clips above 30 seconds they will immediately strike be careful!
