Nice Trip Video. What do you use for editing? The new Flybe is expected to be much smaller with possible base at BHX. So you might get an opportunity again with the new version in the future.
Sony Vegas Pro (not that I’m much of a ‘pro’ tbh). For this I found I had more to talk about than video footage so ended up slowing framerates down a bit too much in some clips I think. The special effects are quite good once you get the hang of it - still learning though. The new base at BHX would be good. I noticed Eastern Airways are starting a new route in May BHX to Gibraltar in an Embraer 190 I think. Tempted to book that one!
Another enjoyable and entertaining watch. Where to next? Always wondered what Shrewsbury station looked like at 6.00am, doesn’t anyone get up before then? It’s no wonder why you’re always escaping.
Haha, yeh I was doing this quite a bit before the latest restrictions! Lots of stuff planned but tbh, I reckon half will be cancelled! I think it’ll be a few more trips in the UK, you’re welcome to come along and/or suggest something.
Hey Darren, I really appreciate that cheers. and hopefully I've got some brand new content coming out in the next few weeks from some stuff I did before the current lockdown restrictions. Thanks for the support!
They’ve bought one Q400 from somewhere like Austria after applying for resumption of licences. It’s not an ex-FlyBe one though but it has been re-registered apparently
Interesting! I looked up G-ECOF which went over to Canada with ‘Chorus Aviation’ and is now in storage in Norway. I will be watching this closely, fingers crossed 👍
@@LetsMakeaTrip Found the article I mentioned published 27 Jan, "(the new owners) last week added a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 to the Civil Aviation Authority’s register. According to the CAA’s database, the 22-year-old former Austrian Airlines aircraft is now registered as G-CLXC, having been previously registered as OE-LGA.
Yes they sold up to Connect in 2019 but after that all went wrong they appear to be coming back as Flybe again sometime this year (?) is the last I heard. Maybe somebody else on here knows a bit more detail but I still think it’s a bit ‘up in the air’ atm (pardon the pun!).
@@LetsMakeaTrip I'm a little late to the party but operations have now resumed with four Q400s, with plans for a further fourteen before the end of the year. This summer will see six aircraft to be based at BHX and around the same number at BHD.
@@ciudad-del-mar hi Sabandeno, never too late to comment mate - always appreciated 😊 You’re right and just to let you know, I’m flying on one BHX - BHD next week to bring things right up to date. I’m coming back on Emerald Airlines ATR72 (probably ex Stobart) and will be comparing the two flights. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top 👍
