    Just an interesting note: as a Grunt in a fire team we were told that the Commander's intent was the most important piece of info in the OpOrd... When the plan goes to shit (and it will) it is important to know what you are trying to accomplish...

    PSA at OCS from 2018 on, Commanders intent is now a part of it. It is broken down into three areas Purpose, Method and End State. Why do you need to do this mission, How are you going to, and how do you want the battlefield to look after the objective is achieved.

    Hey man, my recruiter is saying that if I attend OCS via the PLC program and finish OCS successfully I can then decide if I want to commission as an officer or go back to being a civilian. is this really true?

    • @officercandidate5415
      @officercandidate5415  7 лет назад +7

      Yes. This is true. The advantage of going Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) is that you can attend PLC Juniors one summer (6 weeks) and then have 1 whole year to decide whether you want to go to PLC Seniors (6 weeks) the following summer. I believe that even if you complete PLC Seniors, you can decline commission.
      Going PLC gives you time to decide whether you want this or not. Good Luck!

Bad guys over there. go kill them. Higher mission: win your mission Win. every unit Win. big mission is to WIN. the grunt only wants the basic mission to WIN.
