I gotta say I’m pretty impressed with Jesse doing this song. He’s come a LONG way since Alive or Just Breathing.
I love Killswitch Engage, whether it's Jesse Leach or Howard Jones on the vocals, but Jesse just can't sound as good as Howard singing this KSE classic.

I will NEVER forget seeing these guys at the Tabernacle in Atlanta Georgia, they opened up with This Fire Burns then followed up with End Of Heartache qnd Jesse fucking SLAUGHTERED it. He went so hard a mosh formed and the jumping was so intense that the floor and the steel support beams were bending under the strain.

Hey dude, we had no comms on, and I was the only camera person running around the whole stage back to back. I wish everyone hit every mark and captured every moment, but that isn't always possible. I did my best!

I don't know why people are comparing Howard and Jesse. Honestly both sound pretty same to me.
In my opinion they don’t sound the same to me, but they both sound great in their own ways. Jesse’s early screams on Alive or Just Breathing are almost unmatched, of course his screaming isn’t quite as good here as it was then, but his singing is still excellent. Howard is also an excellent vocalist in a different way, but both are excellent, and I enjoy their lives shows with either vocalist.

You can say the same on the flipside. Howard didn't sound quite as well singing songs from AOJB but that's OK cuz they both brought their own flavo r to the other guy's songs. They're both awesome and it's great that actually close pals with no silly David Lee Roth-Sammy Hagar rivalry.

Jesse sounds better than everyone thinks on this song. The original kill switch engage band is better on this song together than Howard jones version.
One of the worst things to ever happen in heavy music was Jones leaving KSE. I hope Jesse eventually leaves and Jones comes back

While Howard used a shitload of effect in his mic (Or was cupping it like crazy), adding a lot of echo, and it was annoying the hell of me and that he let fans sing way too many choruses... the more I listen to videos with Jesse, the more I think it was WAY better with Jones!
