Idk why but when I put this on one night, I had a dream I was some lost soldier in the 1700s in the middle of a dark forest. And all I had was a pistol and a lantern. And It felt like I was being stalked by something I couldn't see. I only woke when I fired my pistol at something. Had to go drink some water and calm my heart down. It's amazing what ambience sound can make you dream of.
CREEPY! The scary "werewolf" backdrop with the fireflies (will-o-wisps?) is awesome, too. This is going to come in handy at my own next game session. Thank you again, Michael!
I just want to keep in mind what time stamps the roar(?) that the creature makes, and how often. 1:41 (Roar?) 3:20 (Growl) 4:40 (Roar again) Everyone is free to use these timestamps to their own benefit. Thanks for the awesome video as well as the sounds. Awesome work!
I found this one a while back, created a Fellhound (shadow mixed with dire wolf) based on the picture above. Said Fellhound ended up slaying one of my party members while they were running through a dark and creepy forest…thank you again for the wonderful inspiration (both visual and audio)
"Walk close to me, and do not stop. Even if you see or hear something ... strange. Because if you stop, you may very well have reached you end. Got it!? Less green people than you have gotten killed in this forest. Been lured away by strange noises or appirations."
My favorite ambience pieces are the ones where you can hear voices or screams on occasion. makes me feel cozy and feel like i am not alone. Someone or something is always out there.
(Whisper coded comment): Hi. I know I’m really late but I want to thank you because I’m a vampirekin and listening to this triggers shifts, which I really enjoy. ^^ -Nixe ❤️
My level 11 party just went to the Feywild, and I used this for their entry (Twilight by late Spring, that they were given temporal directions towards their objective). Entered in thick vines/brambles, where the plants are ever-shifting. One of my favorite sessions I've ever run.
Awesome background for reading horror books or scary stories. Reading "The Laws of the Skies" with this on as atmosphere and it definitely enhances the experience.
I heard of people with really immersive and cool dreams. I just wish I would be able to get one where I'm in a 2005 _War of the Worlds_ setting. I had one once, and it was the best. Merely fleeting memories, now.
I am working on the Dark Forest in my FRPG, and this is setting the mood for this region. It was difficult to get into the mood while finishing this dark woodlands until I stumbled across this masterpiece. Thank you. I would very much like to put your link into this region, as I do for artists I buy from. It would enhance their adventure, as well as give you more traffic. Thank you for taking me into a deeper state. Now, to get to writing. Best wishes always, Michael Giles (Author of Guardians of Utaemia).
Your ambiences are normally so good about not including intrusive sounds that aren't generic enough to be flexible. what's with the giant BRRRRRRRRT in the middle of this one?
This is research outpost 17 we successfully contained the creature in this section of the forest, it seems the creature is still active but we have it successfully contained in the enclosure. We are continuing to monitor the creature to further study it's abilities.
Burning a mixture of hybrid, necrophage, spirit, and vampire oils may keep the fiends at bay although in such uncertainty, argentia oil should be applied to silver weapons and hemorrhaging oil should be applied to other weapons.

Firing your gun in bed is dangerous…
That gun is just in his dreams
You probably were seeing a past life
A werewolf may have been there in the dream
Aye cool story tho fr
I love the creepy forest ones. This is exactly the vibes I fall asleep to lol
Same haha
How are your dreams with this music?
@@Mikelica69 my dreams are weird regardless of the music tbh this calms me more than anxiety relief hypnosis videos lol

And one day you close all the tabs and you still hear the sounds...
Great for sleep 😴 🐺
Thanks so much!
Oh this is perfect and JUST in time for my werewolf campaign
Running Ravenloft today

Exactly what I need as my players start the next story arc, horror set in a dark jungle
Absolutely love listening to this in the car when driving or whilst working on art
This makes me shiver! I love it. The rustling noises are great.
Aww a puppy :)
Why would dogs roam a forest like this?
"those are wolfs, i believe"
@@neutrallover5828 "eh, wolves, dogs, what's the difference?"

Size and attitude (usually). Wolves are bigger than most dogs, and are quite timid, they prefer to run instead of fight.

Знаете, вот на мой личный субъективный взгляд именно так и должен звучать настоящий ночной лес!!! Спасибо за просто изумительное видео!!!
Thanks!
Thanks to you :D

perfect Supernatural's purgatory-vibes :)
Gonna listen to this while exploring the woods near my house with my friends
TFW the monster in front is not wanting to harm you but help you; that's a cool concept.
