Compared with the loss of the car. I am more concerned that if the customer drives my Turo car and has a serious traffic accident, involve third-party compensation. How to deal with this situation? worst case. go bankrupt?
What I'm not understanding is... most renters might already have insurance, and if choose to use their insurance to cover YOUR vehicle, why would turo take money from you? If I rent your car, and decline to use turo insurance, and I total your car, ill use my insurance to cover your vehicle... ill pay my deductible, and have a claim on me. I'm I wrong?
Turo double charges each party in any way they can. Regardless of the guests choice of insurance, you will only receive payouts for accidents according to your protection plan as a host. This means that Turo can collect more money from guests than they pay out to hosts - another way they make money. That is, in times of damage where Turo handles the claim, the guest is liable to Turo and Turo is liable to the host wherein they maintain control of the money without disclosing the guest's liability.
Yes, I’m a host. Turo charged me a deductible then collected all the funds from the renter’s insurance plus loss of use and I don’t get my deductible back! In a typical situation if I use my insurance for an accident that’s not my fault, I’m able to subrogate against the at fault party to recover my deductible. But instead Turo keeps that money! 😡
What happens to the guest? Do they get a tow from turo?
And do you provide a second car ?
Nice work
What is you have a loan? What if you don’t want to give up the vehicle?
How long does these this process take? To pay out
for me like 3 months, the communication has to go through you and they refused to pay my collision shop directly
@@tylerbrown5974 Thank you
What happens to the sales tax of the car, is that applied to the value of the next car if it is totaled?
i can almost say with certantly its not
What if your cars stolen?

I could see them taking the cur from the daily rate but additional fees and such should go straight to the host.
