Thanks for asking. We are fine. Sometimes it’s just sad but also interesting to see how quickly good wishes turn into dirty words. It happened when we left India and it’s now happening after leaving China. But we know how we feel and don’t let us influence by other people’s‘ perceptions. We just always wonder where this hatred (?) is coming from or why it’s there in the first place?🤷♀️
Literally have no idea. Maybe they are communists and think themselves as the center of the world? As a Korean, I can say we are suffering a lot from China. You never imagine. Pollution, phishing, spying, manipulating the public opinion by comment army, stealing technologies and cultures, using health insurances by bending the rules etc. Not mentioning the recent chinese-pooping-on-the-street kind of thing. But I don't know what makes them against Korea. Maybe the Korea-US alliance? Do you know anything about korean war? China is a potential threat in Asia. They are now trying to take over Taiwan. But I don't want to say that Chinese people are all bad cause there are always exceptions. And it is just my personal opinion. You know what I mean... By the way, I've been really enjoying your videos. Can't stop smiling watching the videos. Also filming and editing is super good👍 Definitely deserve more. I guess you're back in Germany? From an ethnic perspective, it is thought that ancient Turks and Koreans were very close. I hope that children will learn these facts and become more attached to Korea.
Yes, we have heard that. Isn’t that freaky considering how far away the nations are geographically speaking? Socially we see a lot of similarities from how serious „no street shoes inside“ is seen to the role of family, respect towards elders and much more.
@@our-travel-journal I totally agree. It's interesting that they are so different in appearance because they are divided into the east and west ends, but they still have common customs and cultures.
Hello, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life. He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 says: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
Good question!❤ Let me go back a little in time and make clear that our opinions are based on our individual experiences: when we first visited South Korea in Oct. 2023 we didn’t have any expectations but found ourselves quickly falling in love with Seoul, the green surroundings, the (for us) strange food and so many beautiful people. So after spending about 3 weeks in different areas, we knew that we wanted to come back. When visiting China for the first time we had mixed feelings because we had heard so many negative things in the media but every Chinese we had met before (in Turkey, in Singapore, in Australia, …) was very friendly and open towards us and our 16h transit at Chengdu in Oct. 2023 blew us away (everything was so new and modern) … so when we arrived we also quickly fell in love with Shanghai: there isn’t so much nature around town (like in Seoul or Busan) but all these modern amenities are as clean and organized as in S. Korea. Chinese people didn’t look as styled but more down to earth and even more interested, curious and family-friendly. Of course, Shanghai is just a tiny spot in a huge country but now we are curious to see and explore more of it so when we left, we were sad because we really would have liked to stay longer (but then would have needed a visa) and we simply don’t know when we can come back, yet. And for us it takes longer to prepare everything to go to China than to S. Korea, e.g. when booking a hotel we have to make sure they are allowed to host foreigners, we can’t just rent a car and go on our own road trip, there are more restrictions or difficulties starting from language barrier to setting up payment options. Coming back to S. Korea feels more natural/ easy now because we know how things work: we can travel without a visa for 90 days, we have T-Money cards for transportation, use our credit cards just like at home, it’s easy to rent a car and drive around by ourselves, we can book accommodation by apps that we are used to like booking.com, airbnb, Agoda, Expedia, and we don’t need to worry about internet (VPN or not) therefore it seems like there is no language barrier. And because we have been here before (where we all had fun which means positive expectations now😉), coming back feels a little bit like coming „home“ for we’ve been traveling for months now without returning to a place twice! Can you feel what we are saying? It’s not that we don’t like China or our time there, we really enjoyed every moment and feel like we will return at some point for sure! But now we are looking forward to the familiarity.🥰
What do you mean? After our visa-free time ended we had to continue to our next destination. But we will go back to China at some point in the future for sure!
@@alphaomega1969 Their whole family thinks that South Korea is better than China. As someone who has lived in South Korea for a few years, I find this perception ridiculous😅
@@Values-008 Wow I didn't know that, thanks. Last video I watched I don't recall they said anything about South Korea. I was told that china is contributing to the global economy with astronomical job creation and poverty aleviation. Which is why I was more curious about china.
I‘m sorry to tell you that you misunderstood. We neither think that South Korea is better than China nor China is better than South Korea. Both have their pros and cons. We also enjoyed China a lot and at some point we will also go back there if possible again!

It’s not like people in India are dancing on the street like in Bollywood movies or you only see sporty and gorgeous people in L.A. either (although Hollywood might paint a picture like that). 🤷♀️ We actually found many small things to be true in South Korea, like when people visit somebody’s house they bring nicely packaged fresh fruit or in the evenings you can see work teams drinking and eating together. Did you stay in AirBnb? How is that compared to hotel? Price location wise.
No, that was more like a hotel than an airbnb but seemed like quite new and unknown on the market and therefore a bit more inexpensive (we booked via Agoda) but keep in mind, we are always looking for enough space for 5 people. I’m sure it’s easier to find cheap but good rooms when it’s just 1 or 2 people.😉

Hope you're doing well.

Can you honestly compare and contrast your feelings about coming to China and going to Korea? What did you dislike and what were the differences?
Good question!❤
Let me go back a little in time and make clear that our opinions are based on our individual experiences: when we first visited South Korea in Oct.
What happen to china?😭😨😱
Both
have their pros and cons.
But the first time we visited South Korea, we enjoyed that so much that we wanted to go back (the kids loved their time there) and now we are.
We also enjoyed China a lot and at some point we will also go back there if possible again!

It’s not like people in India are dancing on the street like in Bollywood movies or you only see sporty and gorgeous people in L.A. either (although Hollywood might paint a picture like that). 🤷♀️
We actually found many small things to be true in South Korea, like when people visit somebody’s house they bring nicely packaged fresh fruit or in the evenings you can see work teams drinking and eating together. Every time we saw a situation like that we celebrated it for there seems to be some truth in kdramas.😄😅
Who told you that Incheon Airport is the largest in Asia? Beijing Airport is the largest in Asia and the second largest in the world!
