@@TheRocco587 Tinyhawk most likely has a worse vtx than the crux3 & considering the crux is an outdoors quad it should be just fine 👍 I can't speak for the transmitter as I'm not sure what protocol they use
Worked late and picked mine up today ! (UPS store) Charged a couple of batteries I ordered with it and got out just after sunset. She flies nice and when I put her into acro ! Ordered a new motor frorm RDQ. Will replace it when it arrives. Super bummed because I was totally loving that little toothpick. Kabbab said in one of his review, I think on the Larva X, that Happymodel does not have the best reliability.
Great overview Justin. I just ordered a HX100. Now I am second guessing my choice. How does the Crux3 compare to say the Tinyhawk II Freesyltyle? Preference?
Im just gna say it. It flies fine. Toothpicks especially with Happy model motors aren’t very tune friendly. You will always have some oscillations in just about every build if you push it hard enough. Don’t chase your tail and just enjoy flying.
recently purcahsed one ... maiden the next day and then purchased another one because the first one went straight to a river due to motor desync ... anyone had the same experience? All stock BF and BLHeli settings.

I built a tp3 and have literally replaced 4 AIO boars in the last 5 months. Even used some 30amp boards. If you actually fly hard and push the limits I recommend a 3in that uses a 20x20 stack. Just soo much more reliable imo
I understand every gram matters when it comes to micros but why do these companies refuse to put 20x20 stacks in their 3in builds? I'm so tired of replacing AIO boards on my tp3.

Little faster and more locked in. Freestyle is a good beginner freestyle quad though.
