I have done at 5 of them for at least 5 years now and noticed that nothing changed. If you want to have changes in your life, you first need to be changed, your mindset, your energy and your outlooks on your life.
This is what you do is to set the tone and start off establishing routine . Routine and habits will in the end bring results Are you sure nothing changed ? You might be worse off if it wasnt for your routine and structure I lost my structure and stopped ritualising and everything became chaotic . Chaos is close cousin to failure
I love the last piece of advice. I've become so accustomed to putting myself first that I became more selfish, I noticed this though and lately have strived to help others regardless of how I'm doing; that isn't a particularly healthy way to handle that, but I find it helps more than not being there for anyone consciously. Taking care of someone or something else is so important, it heals your heart and self preservation does not mean you need to sacrifice the love you give to the world
