It is apparent that, right from the beginning, the two masters have cheerfully determined together to rip the sky or heaven to invite or pull down or bring the divine or angels to the earth in so earnest, intense, sincere, pure way with dash of childlike mischief. Dhrupad being rare and ancient pure style of Hindustani Music, the fluctuation type hypnotic and sublime rhythm of it is so naturally and boldly unravelled in this stupendous performance. The gradually varying expressions of eyes of two respected lady artistes being merged in the flow of such glorious music in harmony with its varying moods and their irrepressible natural nods and blooming smiles with admiration and reverence too add more weight and meaning to this rendition. I think, its after about initial 4:40 minutes, the vocalist and the accompaneeing jori artiste suddenly dilute the deliberate initial playfulness touch and take the music to a much higher(deeper?)sublime level which can be understood even by the sudden deep respectful inward looking-changed expression of the two respected lady artistes upon perceiving it in fraction of second since they too were so immersed in this rendition, if not invocation. At one stage, the vocalist naturally made the gesture of waves in ocean. His music swept not only the accompaneeing artistes on the stage but all those who keenly listened to it or soared with it. It is this type of pure form of music, as I think and feel, completely awashes oneself and elevates one's consciousness and spirits. Since about a fortnight, I am listening to this great performance of such beauty, authenticity, purity, sincerity, power and grace more than 9 times. No doubt I have used many metaphors in this comment. But, without any metaphor and exaggeration, I say that I feel awashed, clenzed, refreshed, energised, motivated, inspired, bold, clear, cheerful and elevated by immersing in it. I am grateful to all the artistes who have rendered this rare, roaring, graceful, sublime music and to the man who uploaded it. And to You too for reading this quite long comment or expression.
