Good grade mineral oil is my favorite to use. Comment SPOON and I’ll send you a link to the oil I use.
It works great for wooden utensils and cutting boards too.
Don’t wash your wooden utensils and cutting boards in the dishwasher because it will cause them to warp and split.
I recently started using wooden utensils more frequently when I noticed a soapy taste from my silicone spatulas and stirers. I wonder what type of wood is best for this purpose.
I haven’t had that happen before. Not sure what could be the issue.
