@@Thug9030 I recently removed the older version and getting ready to install the new one with radar. I will post a video as soon as things get warmer outside :) The older one was working fine just didn't have sensors to not hit stuff.
Finally, a display with a great UI and graphics! It sucks that many of them are a low frame rate though. Loses that premium feeling due to the laggy look. Hopefully they can fix this and I would definitely buy one.
You are just the BEST.... We don't like to comment, just in case you decide to change your style, work, honesty, etc... You are just THE BEST REVIEW OF TESLA ACCESSORIES IN YT. I donde have a Tesla and maybe thinking of the M3HL because it your videos.
I love the option for the audio to come out through the HUD's speaker. I hate when the navigation lowers my music/podcast, but I also can't turn off navigation audio because I'd pass my exits all the time 😂. In a perfect world instead of the navigation speaking out the directions, it would just do a beep to alert me to look at the screen and see the next turn. With this set up I can just leave the HUD's volume low enough to draw my attention when a turn comes up, but it won't overpower what I'm listening to.
Something similar is currently available when using Apple maps and also owning an Apple watch. When an upcoming turn is imminent, you get a clicking sound/vibration on your watch. Too bad I find Apple maps garbage as I rarely use it, but I am impressed with this and the simplicity of it warning you to simply take the next turn is a very casual and done in an easy way instead of reading out street names or telling your "in x amount of feet turn" as most other map apps do.
actually this got me looking into it and I found out you can make custom navigation sounds on waze. So for example you could change the "turn left" audio prompt into whatever you want, like a beep for example. I haven't tried it yet but definitely will.
Wow, this one looks KILLER. I cant believe how they just keep getting better. That one is almost indistinguishable from my model x center display except it has carplay!
I just installed the device, and true to your words, it only took me less than 5 minutes, despite not being particularly handy with electronics. The only slightly time-consuming part was concealing the cable, but I managed to tuck it behind the panel beneath the dashboard on the driver's side, which was conveniently removable. Thank you for the recommendation.
I bought this having watched your video. I love it. Very easy for amateurs like me to install and I finally have CarPlay for my Tesla. Thank you Shiva and than you for the huge discount
Definitely one of the best UIs I’ve seen and like the easy install. As others mentioned, they could add some smoother transitions with the animations. I’d be curious to see some long-term reviews on these to see which brands get continual/frequent software updates and added features.
Thank you very much! Yeah most brands so far don't seem to be adding new features even though they say "OTA upgrades" but they have patched all the devices broken by Tesla updates. Hopefully, they start adding actual OTAs to these in the future.
@@ShivaSapkota thanks! that’s great to know at least they are patching for the Tesla updates that break things on the cluster. OTA would be awesome to not have to use SD cards, like even just doing it through the phones Bluetooth.
Thanks!. Ease of installation is great. Wire seems fine. Don't think you'd notice it from the driver spot. Lack of FSD nags is critical. I've always wondered why more people don't use the rear OBD Port. Wondering if The rear port lacks any of the data.
From what I have seen, it is harder to map the rear port for information as Tesla seems to change the protocol slightly with each update but they don't mess with the front port as much. Also, routing the wire is cleaner with the front port if the display is mounted on the dash/steering wheel. However, the rear port actually allows you to control stuff (like all the buttons we have reviewed). Thank you for your continued support to the channel.
I also have this display and like it very much. I agree, being able to change the car on the display (I think it's supposed to be a M3?) to an MY and the color would be great. I'd also like the clock to be able to be AM/PM. Other than that, it's pretty great!
Thank you very much for the feedback. I am happy to hear that this display has been working well for you. I hope they incorporate those features/settings via software update soon. I will keep pressuring them from my end :)
Very nice Video. Really enjoyed it. You are the best in giving details of every aspect the good and bad. It seems a nice integration to my Y, as my wife loves to have display right in front of her eyes.👍👍
I bought mine from the store that may not be mentioned, the seller has sent me the latest update that makes things smoother (a bit). I've had this screen for 3 months and it's the best I've ever used. Make sure whoever you buy from is good at sending you the firmware updates. Doesn't seem like Tlyard shows any file download.
Thanks my friend. Please feel free to put the seller name here. If you had great experience dealing with them, I want more people to check out their products. I want my viewers to get good deals and great customer service no matter where they get these products from :)
[update] they did release a highland version recently! Could you do a comparison between this one and Teslasy product, they look exactly the same, same OEM?
Great video - Is there a step-by-step on how to update the firmware on this device. I love what it brings to my car although I would like to match the car color to my vehicle.
Hi Shiva, you're always the first with the latest Tesla accessories but have you heard of the "S3XY KNOB" where it can control multi features from the knob. Please do a review of it, if you can. Thank you
Shiva, came across this video and was impressed by your presentation as well as the product. I have been looking for something like this on my model Y as I miss the central binnacle from my model X, so have gone ahead and bought this unit. I have subscribed to your channel. Great work and keep it up! Thank you from Canada
If I want to just listen to my Audio Books / Podcasts using the new display... does outputting sound cut out all the Tesla sound if I choose to use the Tesla Map? Or does it incorporate both audio outputs at the same time.?
Well, I'm impressed......REALLY impressed! The unit has the proper look and, other than the visible cable, the feel of standard equipment. IMO, you didn't overemphasize the video quality, you liked it a lot and it showed! I absolutely love the quick installation and don't mind the stickers that keep the installation simple. I guess my only issue is I happen to love my Tesla navigation and use it all the time so adding this seems kind of doubtful. I think I'll just take a wait and see attitude on the unit and the company. They evidently have some smart people working there! Another nice review!
Please contact TMA. They should do a UI like this one for every display. I bought the T6 after seeing your video and it's a great display with the front camera. For me it is the best one with the most value. I use the front camera and Android Auto every day. Thank your for your useful test. The UI design from the T6 could be much better. This UI + TMA T6 = best display with front camera on the market. Please talk to TMA.
Thanks, I sent them a link to this video and told them exactly what you are suggesting. They need to match this UI with their features and we have got a winner! Thank you again.
Another great review - thanks. What all these displays are missing is an unobtrusive driving mode: no extraneous clutter - just simply presented baseline information: Speed, odometer, trip, energy remaining, heading, headlight status, turn signals. Even Tesla’s engineers have yet to execute that on 3 and Y displays. Ideally the briefest of glances should suffice to capture needed information so the driver‘s attention can immediately return to DRIVING.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am still waiting for someone to make such a display and hope it hits the market this year. I think Teslogic has the information figured out but their solution requires you to use a phone. Hopefully they make their own cluster as I would trust them to keep those updated.
After 1 week of using this product: It feels like beta release and doesn’t ready for production. It is glitching all the time, display stops working randomly. I contacted support and they told me they won’t release any new updates for this device. Also they replied they wouldn’t accept it back.
I prefer the Hansshow F68 because it has a front camera. My car is a ‘23 MYP and the camera overcomes the problem with Tesla Vision for front parking. The Hansshow never uses the device speaker, only Tesla Bluetooth audio. Hansshow also mounts on the steering wheel shroud, provides blind spot warnings, and shows options to pick the car color.
Just curious (I don't own a Tesla so excuse the ignorance.) but why would you get one if Tesla comes with all that in their OS and it constantly updates with new features? How do you shift back the steering wheel controls back to Tesla monitor to control the original parts? When Carplay/Android auto updates, how is this device supported? Is it through a firmware update as well? What kind of support does it come with? 4 years of firmware updates? Lifetime firmware? Would any Tesla owners get it and why?
Same question related to be able to use the steering wheel controls to control the main Tesla infotainment system. Is that possible to control both using the steering wheel controls?
Great review Shiva. Agreed that this is much simpler to install and use than the others you've reviewed. I'm sure the manufacturer will add other features such as auto pilot indicator thru SW update in the future. Thanks very much.
I had my mind made up on this CarPlay Display. I first saw another channel show it off and I liked the easy installation. But after seeing the features on the other displays, I have to figure out what I really want. Like the blind spot warning and showing the autopilot features. Also the first place I saw selling this display was Teslasy but this review is from Tlyard. Is there a difference? If there's an update that's add features, would both provide the files?
I already have a first version of a dashboard from hanshow and I think I will only switch to an upgrade as soon as they figure out a way to pick the right and left cameras when using turn signal. Thanks for the cool video !
Love this! Great review, I have to agree about the integration with just tape and and exposed wire. They missed on that part. Also seems so simple to be able change the color or wheels to customize the display of the car.
I have this display and it did impede the air flow so I popped off the dash and ticked it under and mounted it further forward above the vent and perfecto!
Great video! I'm very tempted to buy this, although I would really like to see color change vehicle and the autopilot indicator. I'd be tempted to put a dash cover on and make a small hole to route the cable underneath to the end of dash by the driver door so I don't have to see it in front of the steering wheel. Do you think the cable is long enough for this? My other question is how well does the auto dim feature work, especially at night?
I was also amazed how the nailed graphics and UI. I have been waiting for something like this. Very simple UI, I just need the speed in very big font. Plus the animation when you engage a gear is awesome. A lot of times when maneuvering I forget which speed is engaged. The sole thing that is missing is the front bumper camera capability.
Wow !!! Great review!!!!! I don’t have a Tesla but if I had I would 100% get that thing!!! Perhaps I will give it as a gift after viewing that review!!! Thank you!!!
Great display! I like the easy install and not hating to access the front port or removing the dash panel. Any issues with the autopilot controls when using the right scroll wheel to choose your settings in the display? Right and left presses with the scroll wheel would affect your distances to car in front of you.
I follow you with all these electronic displays and other gadgets. I purchased this same display as I thought it was easy to connect and the look. Since I received it I haven't been able to have the time correct. The closes I was able to get it to was 12am when its 12pm so at least the number is correct, and I just don't pay attention to the am or pm section. Did you have any issues with it?
How about displaying autopilot ? Have they fix that yet? Since everything is going through the right scrolling wheel, will that change the distance between car if you try to adjust the setting while driving with AP?
I just need to know which is the best one overall with carplay. I like the idea of this one, but I just want to get the best one. You said you reviewed lots of them, can you tell me the best one so far?
Sweeet !! This is easily the best one so far (display and install). Now I am getting greedy, Should I get this one or wait for someone else (TMA cough .. cough) to improve on this? :) Also, not sure if I missed the detail but does it show turn signals on the display? Camera/Blindspot would be super helpful in future. Let them put the SD card slot in use for updates. Terrific video (as always !!) Thanks brother
I agree the visible cable is a turn off for me. I also have the original Hansshow display that came with both the front camera and GPS. They have me spoiled, so I'm waiting for the ideal display. I hope you're good at updating the displays you have reviewed, so that maybe those features I am waiting for were added. Thank you for your very detailed presentation.
Thank you very much for the feedback. Yeah it is getting harder to track these displays but generally any update that Hansshow releases for their 10.25" display should work for yours too. Hope you haven't had very many issues as that original display was pretty great. I would say the recent F9 would be somewhat of an upgrade to the one you have but very minimal, probably not worth the cost.
Great video I ordered this last week anyone purchased this know how long it takes for delivery? I live in the States (Florida) Trying to get an idea when it will arrive.
Thanks for the great content @ShivaSapkota Do you know if it would work to connect both the S3XY Knob and this cluster display? In my opinion, these are the two items that Tesla does not provide and that most customers want in their cars.
Hi Shiva, post installation will the steering scroll wheel be able to control Tesla system and Android Auto both or just one of them? If it controls only Android Auto, how can you use it to control the car voice assistant?
Thanks for sharing with us the product Shiv! Quick question, I have a Hanshow rear screen connected via the back, can I daisy chain this screen via the same port?
Thank you my friend. Yes, you can daisy chain multiple plugs but after 2 plugs the cover bracket doesn't seal anymore. I am working with a company to modify that cover bracket so we can connect a whole bunch of these products all together.
The settings indicate it should work on the RHD drive and they had told me it works but I am re-confirming. I don't see why it wouldn't work as it is exactly the same thing except the driver side is on the right and since this doesn't mount onto the steering wheel/dash, it should work just fine. Thank you.
By far the best looking display with regards to UI. For me this would be the one I would get if it were not for the lack of front bumper camera and integration with autopilot including nag and blind spot warning. If they fix those two issues I would buy it even for a premium. The only other complaint is the cable showing, that really destroys the amazing OEM style UI. If only these guys could collaborate with TMA then we would have the perfect screen!!!
Do you have to always manually connect Bluetooth to both the Tesla and the device? Or just turn on BT on your, get into uour car and it automatically connects to both as long as you've done it once in a previous driving cycle?
It is just a one time setup but you may have to manually select the correct bluetooth on your Tesla if it doesn't automatically connect. This display is pretty quick about connecting to your phone when you enter the car. Thank you.
Thanks for the great review and instructional video. Just ordered using yuur discount code. Update: it took about a week to arrive in eastern Canada from China. It worked 'ok' for about a couple hours then the Apple Carplay started getting really buggy and eventually completely unresponsive. Even when it was 'ok' it wasn't really smooth. No idea why Shiva is saying it's so great unless he got a different version of it. For example, the animation that plays when it goes from a parked state to a driving state seems smooth in Shiva's video. In reality, it's quite choppy and delayed. Not sure how much I would trust any of Shiva's reviews at this point given how much he seems to sing the praises of this glitchy product. I'll definitely be trying to return it or at least get a partial refund.
Hi Shiva as always your videos are very informative. I have purchased the F9 hansshow screen and i have a 2021 model 3 with intel chip. I was unabke to reach to the intel chip tried your upside down method and than i noticed a can bus blue color port on the side trim of oassenger side. Is it possible to plug in thise port as i am not getting any information from Hansshow. I also can send you the picture of the port if you want to check. Please help as i have taken apart all the dash and everything for this install.
Thank you! Nice but still missing the point. Speed and any peed warnings or road cams should have a central view right in the middle of the screen where the current car graphic is. The car directions should disappear as soon as you start driving and then central portion of the screen should go to display speed, speed restrictions, road cams etc. This while we driving.
Wow finally a decent UI! If this is their first go at it, this is very promosing! Very great details on the screen and uninvasive installation is definitely a big win!
Hey that is a big accomplishment getting you to like the UI LOL. Thanks for always commenting on the UIs and motivating these sellers. I think you have liked one other UI (the circular display) from last year so far? So, great to know you like this one my friend.
I bought this and installed it and everything is fine except I cannot get the audio from CarPlay to play through the Tesla speakers. I get the audio to play on the device, but I cannot get it through the Tesla speakers. How do I do this?
@@JayJaramillo89 Yes you can connect both at the same time (please check the installation portion of my video). You will have to do some cable management to be able to put the cover plate back on but it fits with two plugs. More than two products, it still works but the cover won't fit. Thanks!
I bought this and deeply regret it. It is buggy and honestly unsafe! If you use the scroll wheels on the steering wheel while driving they will not only effect this device but also the Tesla. For instance, if you push the right scroll wheel left or right to interact with this poorly engineered device it will also change the car length distance between you and the car ahead of you. If you scroll up or down it will change your speed. You can only safely use the steering wheel controls while parked! Finally, don't expect any customer support - they make it impossible to return or replace this junk device. Learn from my mistake - read the return policy carefully!
Additionally, it comes with no operating instructions and when I asked customer service for them they said there were none available and referred me to this video claiming this is the operation instruction video. Don't trust China!
I bought this.. I absolutely CANNOT find an adhesive that will stick this to the wood grain dash. I've tried everything, the screen just falls off like it's not attached at all. If you have a wood grain dash..beware.

Wow !!! Great review!!!!! I don’t have a Tesla but if I had I would 100% get that thing!!! Perhaps I will give it as a gift after viewing that review!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for watching my videos even when you don't own a Tesla. I greatly appreciate it.
Also, does the audio from CarPlay also play through the car speakers or only only the speakers on the device?
Just found your channel, was about to go through all videos but this just dropped 6 hours ago for me and I’ll be using your code to order. Thanks!
Thank you so much! If the code doesn't work, TLYARD is working on fixing that issue asap. Thank you.
It worked for me just now. This code took more off than the in-store sales code from the site, by $10+. Appreciate it.
This is definitely the best looking display I've seen yet. With iOS 17.4 and the new Carplay update, will that work on this display?
Great display! I like the easy install and not hating to access the front port or removing the dash panel. Any issues with the autopilot controls when using the right scroll wheel to choose your settings in the display? Right and left presses with the scroll wheel would affect your distances to car in front of you.
I have a Hansshow display and pressing the right front wheel changes the autopilot assertiveness.
Anyone aware how to update this ?Over WiFi. It does show a WiFi to connect to device
I agree, this is probably the best display yet. 🍻
Thank you, agreed!
I just need to know which is the best one overall with carplay. I like the idea of this one, but I just want to get the best one. You said you reviewed lots of them, can you tell me the best one so far?
Very impressed with the easy installation 👍
How much is the airflow impacted ?
Fav 3rd party fwd display, thanks Shiva ordering now with discount code.😎🤟
Thank you my friend. I appreciate the support and feedback.
Thanks Watching from Canberra Australia Cheers
Thanks for the great content @ShivaSapkota Do you know if it would work to connect both the S3XY Knob and this cluster display? In my opinion, these are the two items that Tesla does not provide and that most customers want in their cars.
I’m hoping to see Shiva review the Sexy Knob as that seems like it could be a nice product for adding easy to use controls.
Hi Shiva, post installation will the steering scroll wheel be able to control Tesla system and Android Auto both or just one of them? If it controls only Android Auto, how can you use it to control the car voice assistant?
Great graphics and simple installation, and finally a really reasonable price. What’s not to like.
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it.
Great review, looks like best one so far will it work ok on right hand drive (just watched rest of video and yes does suit RHD market)
Is it possible to stick it on grey plastic part behind? And route wire under the carbon dash cover?
If I have Sirius on my iPhone, can I access and select my channels through Apple CarPlay on this display?
Grat Job once again 💪🏼👏🏼
Hi Shiva as always your videos are very informative. I have purchased the F9 hansshow screen and i have a 2021 model 3 with intel chip. I was unabke to reach to the intel chip tried your upside down method and than i noticed a can bus blue color port on the side trim of oassenger side. Is it possible to plug in thise port as i am not getting any information from Hansshow. I also can send you the picture of the port if you want to check. Please help as i have taken apart all the dash and everything for this install.
So, can you get the large map view for Android Auto maps like you can with the Apple CarPlay map?
Thank you! Nice but still missing the point. Speed and any peed warnings or road cams should have a central view right in the middle of the screen where the current car graphic is. The car directions should disappear as soon as you start driving and then central portion of the screen should go to display speed, speed restrictions, road cams etc. This while we driving.
Thank you for your feedback. Yeah I wish they put the speed in the very middle.
I have this product and truly love it!
Thank you so much for the feedback! 🙏
Thanks for your videos
Excellent. I will consider getting one.
Thank you!
Wow finally a decent UI! If this is their first go at it, this is very promosing! Very great details on the screen and uninvasive installation is definitely a big win!
If they can make this +autopilot +blindspot, without Apple carplay, then it will be a winner!
Hey that is a big accomplishment getting you to like the UI LOL. Thanks for always commenting on the UIs and motivating these sellers. I think you have liked one other UI (the circular display) from last year so far? So, great to know you like this one my friend.
@@ShivaSapkota Haha yes they nailed the font and general design on this one!
Thank you Shiva! Nice product but that wiring in plain sight is not clean looking.
I bought this and installed it and everything is fine except I cannot get the audio from CarPlay to play through the Tesla speakers. I get the audio to play on the device, but I cannot get it through the Tesla speakers. How do I do this?
The UI looks nice on this one!
Thank you so much for your feedback!
love your videos! thank you !
Thank you so much!
Love it
I think I’m gonna buy it ! The white cable doesn’t bother me because my Tesla has a white interior and is white in the outside
This is a great display, and yeah if you have white interior and exterior, the cable would just blend in. Thank you.
I have a rear display , can u still use this display ? Since they connect to the same parts?
@@JayJaramillo89 Yes you can connect both at the same time (please check the installation portion of my video). You will have to do some cable management to be able to put the cover plate back on but it fits with two plugs. More than two products, it still works but the cover won't fit. Thanks!
@@ShivaSapkota thanks ! I’ll use your code when I order it !
@@JayJaramillo89 Thank you so much!
I'm here in Australia and have a MY 23.5 Model 3 Highland (shanghai made) - is this unit compatible with the new highland?
I have a 2023 standard awd model Y which does not have that connector inside the center back console. Are there any display worK for that model?
Great display, I will have to buy one when I buy my Tesla. Do you know if it will work on the 24 model 3?
Thank you. It currently doesn't support the highland version due to cloth dash. They have other displays that work for Highland though.
Does this work with the 2024 Model Y LR? The product page only lists till 2023.
Will this work on a 2023 Tesla model 3 RWD?
Great video!
This there next generation version is coming with this display?
Great video dont like the cable from the front they should have made entry from the back if you could sugest it to them
Yes, I hope they integrate it through the back. Thank you my friend. Hope you are having a great start of the near year so far.
Agreed. Mines a paper weight now. Took it off and remembered how much better the car is without a dash display.
Plus, if anything goes wrong electrically if under warranty, they will blame this and void.
Tom that’s how the Tesla works…what are you talking about
Sounds like you are on autopilot mode. Btw You can disable the right scroll functionality.
Is there a way for Android Auto to not be split screen and instead be full screen for the apps like you had it for Apple CarPlay?
Would this one work on the highland?
I bought this.. I absolutely CANNOT find an adhesive that will stick this to the wood grain dash. I've tried everything, the screen just falls off like it's not attached at all. If you have a wood grain dash..beware.
Shiva???? Comments????
I've bought this, it's installed on my wooden dash, it's stayed in place for a week now and not moved once
