- Hello again everyone!!!! I have missed you all so much and I hope you are doing wonderful. This is a little different than my usual videos I make on this channel, so I hope you enjoy it, or at least get a good laugh from it. 😜 Please let me know if you want me to do more of these types of videos because I had a lot of fun making this, and it’s very helpful for me in the process! To master any foreign language; listening to such language constantly "at least few hours a week, for example" is essential to memorize the correct phonetics, a phone is any distinct speech sound or gesture "just like a music tone. A collection of connected tones in music for example create a tune which is a progression of notes. A thousand mile journey starts with a step, but, that first step is the foundation of that long project, so when you take that step with enthusiasm the rest of the project becomes possible and rather easy. The endeavor of language learning depends almost entirely on you following up with seriousness. You will be making mistakes but always correct such mistakes so it won't instil the habit of overlooking flaws in your routine as that will influence the degree of your mastery, and the perfection of your sounds. It's essential to avoid unwanted accent "to be as good as a native speaker" when you learn the basic fundamentals of any given tongue or language.
As you progress, you start communicating in that new language, it feels as if you conquered the world because it feels so exciting and rewarding to enter a new world, to develop intimacy with a new culture that could open so many doors for newly acquired knowledge in humanities, Arts, history, and many other fields, as well as the concept of proving your determination and passion to learn something that validates your intellectual prowess to your family and your friends. Not everybody has the ability to learn a completely new language, it's a great accomplishment even for someone who attends a Bachelor degree in a foreign language study as that requires dedication and lots of brain-power. The cardinal role of learning a new language "real well" is to start at a young age which fits in your case perfectly.
Learning Persian language for an American "English speaker" is rather easy since both languages are Indo-European, thus, they share a great deal of similarities. In fact there are hundreds of Persian words in English such as the following:
- Bihter = Better
- Bad = Bad
- Modar = Mother
- Barader = Brother
- Doghtar = Daughter
- Dar = Door
- Ebrow = Eyebrow
- Stara = Star
- Kaeiq = Kayak
- Ghaf = calf
- Lap = Lip
- Shakar = Sugar
- Chana = Chin
- Eda = Idea
Which are only few example that I could remember now . . . .
