ahaha, I bought these in Texas! They don't taste like the original at all, honestly! The original is soft and has pistachio in it! Maybe Persian markets in California have a better one! It's originally from Isfahan. Greeks have them too, but it's a little bit different.
Try "baghlava (باقلوا)" and "nun khameei (نون خامه ای)" .
They are kinda sweet.
