Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (Spring)

Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi composed The Four Seasons between the years 1718-1720. A group of four violin concertos, each one gives a musical expression to a season of the year. The Four Seasons are the best known of Vivaldi's works, and while the other 3 are wholly original, "Spring" borrows patterns in a symphony in the first act of his contemporaneous opera ll Giustino. Sit back and enjoy the fine melody of spring (despite it being winter).
