    Excellent video. Its the only thing I've seen on RUclips with Puertorican conversations. To me this is the hardest spanish to understand

    One of the best teaching RUclips channels out there for learning languages. Diverse catalog of videos, great explanations, solid exercises to strengthen skills, and even better advice for learning how to really understand Spanish especially the Puerto Rican dialect. Please do not ever stop making these videos & adding the forms in the comments🥹

    I went to Puerto Rico and could not speak with anyone. I could communicate in Peru and Mexico, but did not understand a single word anyone would say in Puerto Rico.

    This was certainly what I would like more practice with. I have been studying for many years, yet still find it difficult often to understand others in random conversations.
    My in-laws are Puerto Rican, and so many times they will use words I already know, but I don’t understand it the first time. My wife and I traveled to PR for our honeymoon last year. I enjoyed it very much, yet was always critiquing my speaking and comprehension.
    Please continue with these types of lessons because Hector and Kevin both sound like what one will encounter in conversations.

    Te dices que en Puerto Rico hay un solo acento pero no es cierto y el acento que tú utilizas es el neoyorican, Puerto Rico tiene diferentes acentos al igual que en Republica Dominicana y Cuba.

    Hello Hope you have a nice Christmas... Can you explain me the Word "bregar " i heard It has various meaning in Puerto Rico " bregar mal " " estás bregando mal" "bregar bien" " los boricuas siempre están en la brega" " en la brega" " brega conmigo " Hope you can help.. bye

    • @slicksavage9839
      @slicksavage9839 4 месяца назад

      La palabra bregar significa “ to deal with something or to handle something”
      O sea, por ejemplo puedes decir “ estoy bregando con algo en este momento”
      O , “ tengo que bregar con esta situación”

    Alittle addition to "raining cats and dogs" That from what I can remember, came from London England. In the old days when it rained really hard,dead cats and dogs would floot down the guters. Hence "It's raining cats and dogs. It really doesn't make sense in American english either. But the saying has been passed on for generations. And we interped it mean obsurd. I think lol.
