    Hey Jorge, nice looking brake. I was always impressed by the engineering that went into automobile drum brakes. When I first started, we would drill out the old pads on the brake shoes and rivet new pads in place. We also had brake drum lathes, and would turn down the old drum to smooth the grooves out. Could only take so many thousands off as a requirement by law. Smart move leaving one untouched as a way to see which way the other goes together. Much better that a picture, old school. Watching you turn wrenches makes me want to go to the shop (in the backyard) and do something. But, better sense prevails as it is above 100F today. Hurry up and get the other brake done. I am anxious to find out about the transmission.

      They still carry the riveted brake shoes, but I figured it would probably be best to go with the glued ones. I'm going to drain the transmission in the coming days 😉
