I was at this concert and Stevie Wonder was at the top of my list of artists to see . This concert had a mish mash of of people performing Sly Stone, the Eagles, Chuck Berry, the Four Seasons. The Raspberries( remember them?) the Bee Gees and others. It had long delays between acts and wasn't run very well. I wanted to see the Eagles but it got late and i'm not sure if they ever played. Stevie Wonder was great, he was at the top of his game. The Bee Gees were also very good, so were The Four Seasons and the Raspberries were very good, I believe I missed seeing the others.
I was on the out side of the coliseum and I said a prayer to Allmighty God to get in that concert sly stone church berry was their and two white boys that was on the inside walk up to the gate right after I said a prayer to God to get in and they gave me a ticket 🎫 and said their friend did not show up so they gave me his ticket God answer my prayer I was about twelve years old I was on my bike I said where I'm going to put my bike with no lock so the police told me I could leave my bike where they park all the police cars at I said nobody is gonna take my bike from where the police cars was at with no lock 🔒 when the concert was over my bike was fine I went inside the concert and smoked some good weed with some white folks and got plenty high and had nice time ,Stevie was my favorite singer to I had to go in there God was showing me that he answers prayer if I pray.
Fantastic. Love early seventies Stevie Wonder performing live. This, the August 1972 'Superstition' clip on the One to One Concert and Sesame Street, the 1972 PBS special, Gala Du Midem and Musikladen in 1974 plus the Old Grey Whistle performance of 'Sunshine of My Life' and another where he performs Sly Stone's 'Someone's Watching You'. Shame there are no recordings of the 1975 'Human Kindness Day' concert which turned into anything but that (!). There is an audio recording from Maple Leaf Gardens in 1975 around. Wish there was a lot more.
Wish I could go back to the early 70s to watch Stevie
I hope the Lord gives Stevie 50 more years!
Goddamn. Back when everyone respected Stevie like they SHOULD. A true originator and funky hero. Respect.
I mean you think Roger Troutman came out of nowhere? Pay respect where it's due.
Whoever you are who's uploading these vids... GOD BLESS YOU!!
oooh chile! this hits different. Love seeing him relaxed in the front. Their demeanor is always so different from when their performing, almost relaxing to see.
WOW! THE SUPREMES were in the crowd greeting Stevie at the beginning of this wonderful video! Great to see JEAN TERRELL, LYNDA LAURENCE and MARY WILSON all wishing Stevie good luck with his show.
Magic Motown Memories indeed! Thanks for posting. Wonderful… ❤️
Hope we see more full live shows

During the interview segment that's Cher along with Jean Terrell, Mary Wilson and Lynda Laurence who were the current line-up of The Supremes at the time of this concert.
thank you!
Yikes, Superstition. Stevie is a beast. A masterful beast, of the highest order. On keyboards, of course.
His voice isn’t too shabby either.
