Interestingly, the officially adventurers league materials on Hartsvale mention that giant blood has mingled with the blood of men there, so really anyone who is a descendant of anyone in Hartsvale could be the chosen one.
From the adventure Forgotten Traditions: "Generation after generation were born, lived, and died in Hartsvale. Giant blood mingled with the human population."
I'm playing with this idea in my SKT campaign right now.

@@Khildith WotC came out with an Unearthed Arcana article, for the "Giant Soul" Sorcerer. Sorcerers who gain their power from a giant-influenced bloodline, with slightly different benefits coming from each of the 5e true giant types.

I'd love to hear about Displacer Beasts next, I feel like they ironically get overlooked from just how cool they are, but I agree with some other commenters that a Hag video would be nice since I know so little about them having never encountered one in a campaign I've played.

What I love about DnD is that none of this is set in stone. You can change any of it for your home game.
Personally, I'm not too big a fan of the Forgotten Realms, but I love the idea that giants and dragons ruled the world before recorded history, so in my homebrew campaign I sketched out a period of time before the gods known to the players arrived in the world, and during that time giants and dragons ruled supreme after having tamed the elements (in my history the Material Plane included the elemental Planes; while the giants and dragons each have their own beliefs, they're not sharing, and according to mortal scholars the inclusion of the Elemental Planes with the Material could account for the elemental natures of each of the disparate giant races). At the end of the war among the gods, Tharizdun was banished, and the power required was so great (all the gods of light and most of the dark), that the Elemental Planes were shattered off the Material, scattering many of each kind of giant to the Elemental Plane that corresponds to their nature, leaving not enough giants left on the Material to populate their now-shattered empire. The banishing also knocked the planet of the Material Plane off its axis, turning what once was temperate land into polar tundra and caking it and the monsters that now inhabit it with ice and snow.
In my game, it is for this reason that so few giant ruins can be found on the Material, not just due to the sheer passage of time, but also because many of the ruins broke off and wound up in the volcanoes of the Plane of Fire, or beneath the seas of the Plane of Water, with their banished makers.
I really liked the idea that there are some things in the world that even the gods don't know or aren't aware of.

Great video! Giants are another group from D&D I believe should be given more credit. One thing, though: you said the Underdark cave system was given to the first stone giant and his kin. But the Underdark only came into existence after the elves made their high magic to bring the island of Evermeet. Was this during the Giants rule of after? There's one part that just doesn't make any sense, I've written it down because I'm interested in other's opinions or how the writers would respond to it.
Othea betrayed Annam and cheated on him several times.
Annam being, the all-father/great creator, one of the (if not) most powerful gods of all time, listening to some dumb bitch that betrayed him not once but several times.
He could have just kept her captive or slayed all the ogres (they were not his children and a betrayal from Othea).
So it doesn't make sense looking at his personality and power/strength, that he would listen and take her stupid deal.
She however happily carries on enforcing her will by not letting the giants protect their city from her "death" (or exiled) lover with whom she cheated on their father.
If she acts like this and he's so powerful he can just threaten her with death if he has to, her being unreasonable and all. Unless he really still loved her. Nonetheless why keep an oath/deal/PROMISE with her when she didn't keep hers MULTIPLE times over, not once, not twice, over and over again.
Go let her give birth and then just come back and ask her, why should Annam keep his word when the other party/god/person has already broken theirs multiple times over?
If this is from the D&D lore then I'm seriously interested to know what the writer's think about this and how they would justify it or have it make sense from a narrative perspective.
Why wouldn't Annam do those things? (him not thinking of them is ridiculous, he's omniscient or at least very smart)
I'm very curious to know what others think and why it would make sense maybe.

@@Dzeno2010 as i see it and the way most true giants are described Honour is very important to them, as is keeping an oath of course and it's pretty obvious the giants inherited this from Annam, not Othia, so perhaps it's just the way he is, keeping his oath to her could have been important to him
as it was his wife ( betrayal or not, love involved or not ) he prefered making a deal and respecting it for honour/oath reason
