This is one of the best synth out there! I have used Avenger on every song that I made. I hope to see "Atmosphere 2" expansion with more calm ambient sounds for relaxation music or sleep music

My only problem is that I am using it more and more and all the others I own less and less... (I own all the major ones like diva, serum, Falcon, phase plant, hive 2, current, etc, they are great but this avenger 2 is just...)

The sounds are really incredible, but everything is so pre-baked. It would be great to take apart those presets and learn from them. But I think that once one of those presets is used on a film score, nobody else would dare touch that preset. I think it would be too easily recognized.

remember that you can play at any key, any bpm (it already changes a loop totally in half the tempo or a different key). You also have 5 macros and modwheel to alter further, add elements etc... Furthermore the loops are not static - you can edit all Arps, change them or turn them off. There are also many "free play" presets there (as seen in the video)

You can make your own sequences . You can do everything that you see in these videos with your own beats and create your own note or chord progressions in the sequencer. And you can control what sounds are played on the different zones of the keyboard. Along with what triggers the beat.
You can use a preset and change the instruments or beat and save as your own preset.

All well and good but after you buy a good dozen packs.. Try finding a sound you used previously you like lol. The "Favourite" section doesn't automatically save your fave into a new personal pack. All done by hand and a lot of copy and paste if you remember and if you don't.. Forget finding that sound amongst the thousands you have. All great on the features but not being able to find pads quickly that you like makes the synth really weak IMO. Nexus does it really well automatically. Big let down they didn't fix this.

It doesn't make the synth weak, it makes you weak lol. But you make a good point.

One could make notes as to where different sounds are, in what category and where they are placed in that category. Pen and paper, still used in recording studios worldwide by producers, mix engineers and musicians. Great inventions, won't ever go outta style. Necessary usage in a studio environment to prevent head- wrecking. Recommended.
