- Did you bring your camcorder to shows? Did you tape bands back in the day? If your tapes are sitting in the closet collecting dust, contact me! I'd love to do a professional transfer of them before they disintegrate. Let's preserve some concerts.

From the tape collection of James Tolin.
Second Coming live 1997-08-15 Pain In The Grass, Seattle, WA
I miss this band so.
such an underrated band....oh man
Blast from the past! Nice. My band, at the time, played a benefit show with them way back in the day at Jimmy Z's in Everett. They headlined and it was a good time. Thanks for posting!!!
What band were you in? Never know if I might find some footage.
@@nicks2319 Bleak House. It was called Rainbows for Seree, I believe. '95 or '96?
thanks so much for posting this! listened to these guys very young but was too young to see them live. travis is one of my favorite singers ever
Pain in the grass 97 is the best
Thank you!
Sent this to James Bergstrom - his best friend is still Titanium Tonsils Travis Bracht!
get a hold of Joe Johnson - he theoretically has a bunch of videos of every band that played The Storeroom, thru the early 90s
Thank you! If you know any contact info or way to get ahold of him please email me.
What a great show!
What's the name of the first song?
Soft

Soft, and also their song Vintage Eyes, both made it to 16th on the charts. The guitarist with the goatee is Dudley Taft and he has an underrated youtube channel. This show was almost a year before they released these songs, except the last one, on their self-titled album. Dudley left the band right afterwards. I saw them in November 1998 with Godsmack (whose first album debuted about a month earlier than SC) and the Toadies. Great show. Dudley was still with them, and he was great. They were the opening act and killed, so the rest of the show was awesome. This 97 show also has a different drummer than the eponymous album. James Bergstrom was the drummer for it. I think two of the members were Greek heritage, and that is the reason for the second part of the epic Afilotimi.

@@blarch2 thanks a lot for the feedback!
@@blarch2 Not bad! Couple things: Johnny is the only Greek, We've NEVER played with any other drummer than James (as seen here) and the last song was "It's Coming After" that was written by Ron Holt and Layne did with us back in the day.
Too derivative. Never did anything remarkable.
True statement. However, we have remarkable stories from our remarkable journey. As opposed to your derivative stories about your 40 hour work week. Oops.
@@TitaniumTonsils13 Maybe you can share some of your heroin stories? OOPS.
I remember being there. These guys were remarkable live. Travis has always been one of the most captivating vocalist I've ever seen live.
This coming from a person that remembers them from the FTA days way back in the day playing at Radens in Auburn.
@@ktoyzero I take it you haven't seen Geoff Tate in his prime, or Dio, or David Wayne, or Warrel Dane, or Halford, or Bruce Dickinson, et al.?
