- The gray has faded a lot so I bought these box dyes to put the gray back in!! Let’s see how well these work for $10 a box! I bought these at Dollar General.

This dye is awesome to cover my level 9 bleached hair. It hides all the yellow and turns almost white. I know it’s more damaging than toner but toner literally does not last for me. This stuff rocks.
It definitely worked a lot better than the expensive dye I bought from Sally’s. I use a purple shampoo and a lathering toner and it keeps it from getting brassy
Yeah i bleached purple shampoo n toner also same brand silver n now i have blue steaks neverrrrr again my 2nd attempt with this brand .... grrrr

That is such a pretty color. I’m almost 60 years old and I don’t have gray hair. It’s gotten really dark. I think I’m close to it turning gray, but I think I want to do something fun, I’ve been sick for a very long time , over a decade, but I’m feeling better lately with a new medicine. And I’m just hoping to do something fun. My husband cut my hair, it’s an inverted bob, it was really long and just weighing me down, oh I hope I don’t mess it up. I used to frost and tip my hair years ago. That might work to do that again. I don’t know. It’s 2022 I want something newer looking, thank you for showing how it’s best to do it, thanks ! God bless! Finally someone with blonde hair using this box dye... last 2 girls already had whire/silver hair.
To be fair, I had already dyed it gray before I used this lol. But I will be bleaching my hair again within the next few months and redying it with this same box dye. No joke this dye worked better than the expensive dye I bought at Sally’s

Lol yeah I definitely don’t look my age haha. Thank you!! 😁 with all the damage I do to it, I try to treat it with deep conditioners and only wash it every other day at most to keep the natural oils in. My kitten is my baby 💙💙 the kids love him too 😊 thank you for watching!! 😁

Thank you for actually following the application order. Too many people slap dye on from root to end and then complain that it's patchy and overprocessed in some areas.
I’ve watched enough brad mondo videos to know roots are last, sectioning is important and bleach doesn’t lather 🤣🤣

I use the generic value products purple shampoo and I love it! You definitely need to use this dye over bleached hair, which mine was previously bleached when I used this, or it won’t come out right. Thanks for watching! 😁

I wish my hair was all naturally gray. I do have some grays but not enough to really make much of a difference in my hair color cuz it’s mostly all underneath. I’m naturally a dirty blonde and praying that my hair will just turn all gray someday soon 🤣🤣

I'm trying this out tomorrow. I got my hair dyed metallic silver at a salon (cost 600 dollars because she charges by the hour). She did a good job but there's still blond pieces so I'm hoping to get it done myself. Also, I love how when you're applying it to your hair, you can see the other dyed peices slowly turning silver.

Oh no, you overpaid tremendously!! Don’t go back to that salon, especially if she missed pieces!! If your hair has already been bleached and dyed silver, this dye should definitely work!! Let me know how it turns out!! 😁😁
How insane, you paid the salon $ 600 and again you yourself need to redo the color?😮. It's terrible that salons are so overcharging, it's better to color it yourself from the beginning, at least won't be regret that you spent $600 but costed only $10 or $20.

My hair was a slightly orange tipped blonde, 9maybe? This dye covered it wonderfully. You just can't start with hair that is too dark...as it says on the box.
Yeah my hair was already dyed gray when I dyed it with the silver so it just intensified it more which I liked 😊 now I’m impatiently waiting for my hair to all go gray naturally. My hair was starting to get fried from bleaching so I’m growing it out. I’m about halfway there

These dyes work best on very light blonde or bleached hair. They don’t really show up on dark hair. It worked on my bleached hair but did nothing when applied to my brown roots.
Hi there I was wondering can you use this product after using Loreal Paris feria platinum blond? I wanted my hair grey or white. Tone didn't really do a damn thing to get rid of the yellow.
I’m sure you can if you’re hair is blonde enough. Did it go orange tho or just like a light yellow? If it’s more orange, toning isn’t going to work, I would try bleaching it with a volume 20 or 30 developer (NOT 40 volume) and then toning again to get the platinum and then giving your hair a couple weeks break and then using the silver dye. And then how I keep the silver color is using a purple shampoo every time I wash my hair. Every once in a while I’ll dye it purple with a temporary or semi permanent dye and it fades back to silver.
@@BeccaOnABudget yeah my is blond, and it seems the toning does not help. Others have mention toning will help get the yellow out. I don't see that working.

To tone it you could’ve used those purple drops and put it in Olaplex 3... it would’ve treated your hair and repaired/rebonded it and toned itn
The lady at Sally’s told me to use T18. I’ve since then learned that the ladies at Sally’s don’t know what they’re talking about lol.

Are these safe for your hair? It has ammonia?
They’re the same as any other box dye, it’s not good for your hair but not necessarily bad. I’ve used boxed dye pretty much my whole life and never had an issue. I would 100% not recommend using it on damaged hair tho.
If you sectioned and applied with a brush you might have better results. Nice color though.
Yeah I definitely didn’t know how to section back when I dyed it which is why I had a lot of patchiness lol
Did you have to use both boxes on your hair?? I'm thinking of doing mine this Color and it's the same length as yours but I only bought one box.
I did, I have thick hair but if you have long hair, I would get a second box to be on the safe side
I think I should have use just the half of the given tube of dye. My hair came up too dafk.. but I like it anyway.
Did you dye it over platinum or a darker blonde? Because that will definitely affect the darkness of it. But using less or more doesn’t change the color, you want to make sure all of your hair is saturated. Maybe next time, don’t leave it on your head for as long, or I think you can dilute the color by mixing in some conditioner (don’t quote me on this, I would still google it before trying lol).
I have black hair n got platinum blonde highlights waited around 2 months bleached my entire hair and the highlights got lighter n my black hair got orangey then waited n bleached again my entire hair then applied tbe sakura pink Nd purple metallics n my fav was the pink!

Does it lift out colour in darker areas?
It lightens my roots slightly but I haven’t really noticed anywhere else. I wouldn’t suggest dying over an already dyed dark area because I have no idea what it’ll do. For best results, I would dye over bleached hair.

I don’t remember the exact shades but I believe I used a violet and a gray and mixed them together and I used ION brand. I bought them from Sally Beauty Supplies. 😊

I've used that brand before, i did the purple one on my dark hair and it actually came out really cute (pinkish purple) and it stayed in my hair for a lot longer than I thought it would lol..

Do the bottom first then the top. The top is new hair and will take color faster then the rest of your head.
I normally do that but with this dye, it doesn’t dye my roots, only the bleached hair, so I didn’t bother doing my roots last
I used this today and loved my results my roots are a bit light brown but a bleach next month on the roots and some more of this I'll be set

They’re new, I’ve never seen them there before. $10 each, not the cheapest but definitely not super expensive. There was a few colors to choose from

@BeccaOnABudget I have waist length hair, and that's where I think I go wrong. I've been using only one box, and when bleaching, my hair turned orange.
Yes definitely use 2, maybe even 3 at waist length! And you might need a higher volume developer if it’s orange (unless you have super dark hair then I suggest going to a professional, you don’t want to damage or lose you hair!)

True ash turns purple!! This dye does not!
If I leave my purple shampoo on long enough, it gives my hair a lavender hue. But I do dye purple over my silver every now and again. But I haven’t used this dye in over a year. Got it bleached and toned, then dyed purple at the salon about 9 months ago

I am really bummed out because I wanted it come out like the picture. My naturally, light gray hair has been bleached, just so I could follow the directions on the box. Anyway, It turned out such a dark gray, and it also looked blue. I immediately washed it with purple shampoo and put fanci-full rinse on it (ultra white minx) that made it a tiny bit lighter but it is still blue. I think I am going to contact scharkopf!
Always start at the Roots, my dear!
You never start at the roots because your roots process faster. Always do your roots last

When bleaching your hair, you never start at the root because it will process faster than the rest of your hair, same with dying over bleached hair. My hair his bleached. My roots are also brown and with this specific color, it won’t show up on any other colors than light blonde or bleached blonde, so it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway. I’m also keeping my roots brown until they grow out like an inch or so. I’ve watched enough brad mondo to know that when you’re dealing with bleach and bleached hair that you never start at the root lol
