I know, the first time I saw it for some reason I wanted to cry. The part that hit me too much was Endeavor's expression right after All Might's smile.
Love the moment with All Might fading away into showing Endeaver. Shows how when All Might was Number 1, that peace and the future were certain with the light shinning away in front of him. But with Endeavor, even though his quirk is literally fire, the background isn't lit at all and you see nothing but darkness, showing how the future is uncertain.
Everything did turn out alright for them though; Toga survived, Twice realized that he is the real Twice and was able to finally use the full extent of his powers, and Shigaraki ultimately wins control over the Meta Liberation Army and gets Gigantomachia's support. "Everything will be alright" and "and now it's our round" applies to both the hero students and the league of villains.

I don't know about this universe But in my universe the MVA opening had a darker tone and was 100% focused on the villains and the liberation army with 0 heroes scenes , my favorite part from it was the transition from AFO to shigaraki by the end , i am happy that this masterpiece of an OP lasted for 8 episodes I hope the opening from this universe was as good as ours

Honestly, I loved it straight away. Probably my favourite opening tied with Odd Future. Perhaps it’s because it felt so different to the previous ones, which I felt got a bit same-y over time. I like how much more dramatic and serious it is compared to the previous openings which were mostly more bouncy and fun. I have only recently started watching MHA and therefore watched Season 1-5A very close together over a few weeks. Perhaps if I’d seen more of the series live before getting to this opening, my reaction would be different.
I’ve listened to this around 100 times now on Spotify and it’s still a vibe ngl. But i don’t think everything will be alright after all the villains had a massive power up…
I love how Crunchyroll had one of the villains in the thumbnail. It fits so well given how this opening should've been all about them. I'll never get why Bones chose to make the opening more about Class 1A when this arc is all about the villains.
This opening was used for both the Villain Academia arc (which was about the villains) and the Endeavor Internship arc (which was about Deku, Shoto, Bakugo, Endeavor and Hawks).
