I don't know where your vested interest for SPEEDi comes from, but it's time to cut this shit out. If you want to do your Googling -> Speedi is a copy of the LSS with some PLANET3 features mixed in. It's only been available from August 2021 so you didn't have it for 5 years, while PLANET3 pantent documentation was submitted on April 16th 2019. I'm a big believer in not censoring people on the internet, but before commenting you should worry more about looking stupid publicly.. there's an epidemic of this.
Of course. :) Just depends on the model. You should visit the webshop and just pay attention to your rear hub configuration (lower spec models require a replacement end cap & axle because of the concave profile of the original end cap).
Very difficult to get right, every time that wheel comes off the cover is hit & you need to gather the tools again & set this up… why there isn’t a spacer or an Oring to set the space. This guy has an ego issue & does NOT accept returns! Total shithead!
Hi everyone, this is Jason. Jason can't run his own business and is self-admittetly an "American". Jason didn't read anything and wanted to return a product because of a "potential-future-never-happened-yet" reason that "he will knock things out of place each time he pulls a wheel out". When told this is kinda childish and you can simply pay some attention to what you're doing and not throw your wheel into the bike from 10 feet, Jason opted for personal insults based on ego and fear - which tells us how his mind operates. For those interested, you can check out Jason's reviews of his own business by Googling "Bowers Donuts Inc" in Pottsville, PA. For full transparency, I will now make a blog post on planet3.bike with the screenshots of the full conversation thread between me and Jason and let you judge for yourselves. Post will be named "Bowser’s shitting his trousers ‘cause he’s a down-er!". Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
This a copy of NLS speddi? Does it work any better? Why the 2 inner gears? Ebikes only use one rotational magnet? The NLS Speedi is a perfect system i use them but have the STL files now
NLS is a copy of PLANET3, but with an inferior ratio. They also came to the market several years later. Why 2 magnets - it's only for manufacturers which track cadence vs. speed and would throw an error for a 3:1 ratio PLANET3 i.e. your rear wheel would be moving 3x slower than the real speed. With two planets the ratio is halved down to 1,5:1 (which is the max that Speedi can ever have due to its design) and the speed of the rear wheel is "closer" to what the motor/software is expecting.
This really depends on which bike model we are talking about. Essentially single magnet gives 3:1 ratio, while 2 magnets gives you a 1.5:1 gear ratio (meaning that 2 magnets are slower). But due to restrictions that certain manufacturers impose, 1.5:1 ratio is becoming default setup for more and more devices. Specialized e-bikes can still be used with single magnet, especially the older models or older firmware versions. But, we also have other solutions which completely remove the speed limit. So, if you wanna know more, contact us at: info@planet3.bike :)

Yep, it's all at planet3.bike :)
Hi, does this fit and work in Gen3 (2024) turbo levo?
Of course. :) Just depends on the model. You should visit the webshop and just pay attention to your rear hub configuration (lower spec models require a replacement end cap & axle because of the concave profile of the original end cap).

I'm going to get it today and assamble it.
Do i not have to apply grease to the gear?
Nope. Just like a good woman, PLANET3 brings its own lube. :)
Why does it need 2 magnets?
