Cool, the Chapel is still there. I know Royal is starting to get rid of them. Wife and I were married right there on Explorer back in 2001. Fun to see it again.
2:26 Awe, the Monarch of the Seas. That was my honeymoon cruise back in August 1994!! Such great memories. She's been scrapped so it was great to see this model.
Wait, I just noticed something! We were on Carnival Horizon sailing away in the distance when you were on this cruise! How cool - I should have waved at you!
I was on the Explorer at the end of May/ beginning of June of this year. We went to Grand Cayman, Curaçao, and Aruba. Elvis was our cruise director as well!
2 & 1/2 weeks til I cruise again, it always takes forever to get here, then goes by soooo fast! Wish I could cruise as often as you guys do, but twice a year is all I can do rn, love your videos 😊
We are down to 8 days! Off on the Enchantment! Funny the waiting seems forever until you get within two weeks then you never have enough time to prepare!
2:30 Since I just got off Adventure OTS a few days prior to the release of this video, I was able to see a couple of differences looking at Explorer's ship map. On Adventure, Izumi is down on the Promenade (deck 5) versus up on 11 on Explorer. Conversely, Giovanni's is up high (deck 11?) on Adventure (versus deck 4 on Explorer). The Art Gallery is on 3 down by Studio B on Adventure (versus on 4 on Explorer). Sapphire Dining Room has same name on both.
I have recently been on Voyager (Norway/Denmark), also in an interior and it was interesting matching up the ships/spotting any differences. Thanks for the video!
The Explorer was supposed to get a royal amplification, but they canceled it😫 I was booked on a 5 night cruise on Explorer back in Jan 2021 but it was canceled due to the pandemic. I didn't get a fcc I decided to get my money back. You are going to love Labadee I went there on Independence of the seas, I thought Falmouth was just ok. I went there twice. Once on Independence of the seas and on Norwegian Escape. Have fun!!! Happy cruising 🛳 ☺️ 🍹👙🕶🏝
Jay and I have the same sense of humor, but unlike Jay, I get dirty looks from my future spouse. It must be my delivery...lol. 🤣🤣 We were trying to find an affordable way to get married on a cruise, but our search efforts were fruitless.
Explorer was our first ever RC cruise in 2013, to Bermuda. It was such a terrible service experience, it would take another 5 years an apology and free upgrade from RC before we sailed with them again. We have now also sailed on the Freedom and the Empress. Overall, we still vastly prefer Carnival, but RC is okay.
I hope Jay replaced his size 14 water shoes because you absolutely MUST have them in Labadee. Literally TONS of rocks and broken coral all along the water line. Don’t even attempt it in bare feet. 😖
Holy cow that furniture in the cabin is TIGHT!!! I can't understand how you don't come away with bruised hips from the tv or banged up knees from the edge of the bed & sofa. BAD design. I think the only way to get in bed would be to crawl up the end or have it split into twins and wave goodnight to each other. I had one like this on a Princess ship once, and my hubs said NO to inside cabins after that.
I understand the importance and support the memorial ofw but couldn't you at least acknowledge the passing of the Queen. Alot of us British watchers would have liked a mention
Sadly, they didn’t make any mention of that onboard, though it was definitely a monumental event. We don’t personally comment on current events in our vlogs as a general principle, but we were definitely saddened to hear of the loss!! EDIT: We just checked the schedule for tomorrow on Celebrity Equinox, and they’re having a tribute to the Queen! Yow!!
Watching these older series are great!
This is amazing … a class act of Royal Caribbean … being the son of a Port Authority Police Officer who lost his life on 9/11 , this means a lot !
Cool, the Chapel is still there. I know Royal is starting to get rid of them. Wife and I were married right there on Explorer back in 2001. Fun to see it again.
So happy I can come to your vlog and find every ship that I am considering cruising on.
This lovely couple inspires me. Thank you so much for posting your experiences.

Still love the Promonade area of the Explorer! Big fan of this class of ship!
Twinners on dinner??? You surprised us, Jay!!!
Excited to see these and see what I may have missed. Was great to spend time with you both😊
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated 😊
LOVE that you're filming the menus! Thank you SO much! I've always wondered if MDRs were worth it.
Brings back memories from 2018. Was on this beauty for a 3-day repositioning cruise out of Seattle. And yup, I had a Promenade view room. Loved it
Wait, I just noticed something! We were on Carnival Horizon sailing away in the distance when you were on this cruise! How cool - I should have waved at you!
I had the great fortune to do the Sydney to Seattle run (23 nights!) on Explorer in 2018. Happy to see a nice vid of the ship.
Oooo - the Royal parade is BAAAACK!! Woah, it was definitely very bright & loud - I know what you mean when you said, "that's a lot for my brain" LOL!
I've never seen you guys order the same thing all through your dining experience. Was this another experiment?? 😊

Love watching you guys.
😂😂he said Deskular😂😂😂you crack me up😂
Explorer was our first RCL ship sailing back in 2012. Been a fan ever since.
you 2 make a lovely couple. i am looking forward to your videos

The parade was awesome!
The parade looks super cool! Wish it was on every Royal ship
I had never seen you eat the same things, today you did!
Monarch of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas were our two first cruises. Best dining experience was on Majesty of the Seas.
Congrats on the casino paid room!
Monarch! That was the very 1st ship I ever sailed on. 2008 for r honeymoon ♥️
RUclips captions said you were going to "snake" some breakfast. I was like wow! They're getting really adventurous! Lol
Time to slither to the buffet!! :P

I hope your bed is more comfortable than Enchantment of the Seas! Looks like a fun ship though. Enjoy!
Have a fun adventure
You missed our vow renewal in the Sky Chapel. We were on a B2B celebrating our 40th anniversary.
does the couch pull out to a bed?

Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated 😊
Think that was the first time I noticed both of you ordered the exact same items for dinner.
Casino cruise! Hope to see a hand pay!
Ah I sailed on the Explorer in 2013. Very nice ship.
Hi sailing soon on Explorer. I was wondering is someone could let me know if they are still cruising at reduced capacity or full. Thank you.
They were super full for our sailing!!
How many times did you sing 8. 6. 7. 5. -309! I did as soon as I saw your door!
That was how we remembered our cabin number every time!! :P
Everyone was wondering why you ordered the same thing at dinner. Never seen that happen before
how you both visited Coco cay before on a cruise and has Dee been snorkeling their before
Yes, we've been to Coco Cay quite a few times and done a lot of snorkeling in the past!! :D
This is a FIRST for dinner for Jay and Dee they ordered the EXACT same dishes
Jay and I have the same sense of humor, but unlike Jay, I get dirty looks from my future spouse. It must be my delivery...lol. 🤣🤣

Hey-Like it- wel ~

Hello :-) You come to Bonaire too ????
Not this time! Hopefully we can get back to Bonaire again soon!! :D
@@parodeejay Please let us know, we would be very happy. Roadrunner Bonaire :-)
Do you guys prefer driving over flying?
It’s definitely a longer travel day, but probably more reliable in the long run, ha ha!! :P
I’ll be seeing the valiant lady on my embarkation on sunrise in April 2024
How do u book thru the casino
If you gamble enough, they’ll send you offers for freeplay or sometimes free cabins. It’s automatic through the Club Royale program.
did you meet super mario? I think he’s on that ship!
We saw him a couple of times, but didn't meet officially!! :P
Good morning
I hope Jay replaced his size 14 water shoes because you absolutely MUST have them in Labadee. Literally TONS of rocks and broken coral all along the water line. Don’t even attempt it in bare feet. 😖
Did y’all rent a car to the port?
We have our own car with us this trip.
I love how y’all copied each other at dinner 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta be a Canadian dude.
